How about some thoughts on who had the best draft?
I'm a big fan of Ripley's squad -
I think Palmer is going to come back pretty strong and Chad Johnson (won't call him by assinine new name) seems motivated. If Marshall plays, he's got really good WRs (and they're still adequate if he doesn't play) and the combo of Bush and Drew will get some extra mileage out of our .5 PPR. Only question there is depth - if Drew goes down, you'll be hurting at RB. I also think Gates will be the #1 TE this year and feel he's a little undervalued this season.
Runner-up is Tx (Ankle Biters) -
I like the RB crew despite the fact that only 1 of the first 3 selections was RB. Somehow you managed to get decent players while walking away with Manning and Moss as your QB and WR1. While Portis, Moreno, J Jones and Rice are not big on the "wow factor", that's some pretty solid depth to work with and if Moreno and/or Rice shine, you're golden. Rumors are also kicking up about Bush getting meaningful carries in OAK which couldn't hurt either. Mason and Evans make for solid WR 2 and 3 and I also like the value of getting the Jets D in rd 14. I think they'll outpoint more than two thirds of the defenses selected before them and finish in the top 6-8.

I agree with your assessment of Ocho, which is why I drafted him. Rip's got Boldin, Marshall, Cotchery, Ward, Hixon.

I'll go with RuCrazy to take the crown:
Brady will start slow, but will find his stride and put up numbers short of 2007, but not waay short.
Slaton has the ball all to himself with a potential mini-breakout offense. Felix Jones looks like a million bucks, but has a tough backfield competition facing him. Meanwhile Benson has glaring lack of competition facing him , ....but alot of doubts that he can continue his trend from '08. Jones may have gone a bit early and Maroney is a potential bust, .....but the group of 5 has a decent shot of getting it done.
Beyond the potentially spectacular duo of Calv J. and Anthony Gonzo, the motley bunch of WRs is a concern, .....but the waiver wire was made for WRs.
Cooley will provide a huge improvement over his '08 TD stats. It's all rounded off with the best FGK/Def/Def combo, by far, that anybody drafted.
I agree on Torn's honorable mention of the Ankle Biters, definitely a potential champ there, .......and I'll throw in Gotz's team for some interesting reasons.
Let's give it up guys, the dude drafted a rock solid squad in '08 and took the crown. Now in '09, his team is shockingly similar to my 12-team, 15-player money league team---very similar scoring rules:
Gotz QBs: Edwards + Schaub, .....My QBs: Gerrard, Edwards, + Farve
Gotz RBs: Forte, Pierre, L.J., Donald Brown, Bradshaw, Charles, Greene, Mike Bell....My RBs: Forte, Pierre, McCoy, Donald Brown, Mendenhall
Gotz WRs: Bowe, DeSean Jackson, Williamson.....My WRs: Randy Moss, Bowe, Evans, Holt
Gotz has different TE, FGK, and Def, ......but you gotta admit the core of the two teams is, .....well, .....amazing. Best of luck Gotz!
