I have been making these all summer long. A friend of mine who tailgates the Mizzou games showed me this remarkable piece of the chicken and I have been sold ever since. Just got leg quarters at the local grocer for .49 a pound and went to town!!!!!

Anyone else enjoy the hell out of these and are there any outside the normal grilling recipe that I can do?

I do the leg quarters all the time on the grill. I get em on the bone though.

Cheap and good. I usually slow cook em for an hour. I tend to peel back the skin and put my spices under the skin.

Timing is bad, but I have some Indian dishes that specifically call for the skinless, boneless things. I'll see if I can post them up next week.

Way tastier than chicken breast. Not quite as healthful, but I don't dread eating them smile.gif

prefer thighs (bone in or boneless).

+1 and I think the healthy thing is only an issue if chicken is the only healthy thing you eat.
