3.2.3 Final Roster Declaration
The final cut down date will be 7 days before the first NFL game at 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Each team must designate a max 35 active players, 12 DTS players, and up to 3 IR players. On, or prior, to final cut down day, each owner must post a message in the league forum listing his a) active players, DTS players, c) IR players, if any, and d)The number of contract years for each player on the active roster. If a team does not meet this deadline, a penalty of $5 FDSB will be imposed. If final cuts aren’t made within 48 hours of the first NFL game a new owner will be sought.

According to the rules I don't need to pay a fine since my final complete roster was posted on the league forum prior to the deadline! Please credit back the fine... Thanks!

I think he is saying that he copied/pasted his roster from MFL to here. I assume he MEANT to cut Smith, but didnt. However, there was no post saying to cut him, so Im not sure there is anything that can be done.

My final roster was posted by the deadline in the league forum correctly... I forgot or didn't do it correctly on the league site, but that doesn't matter since it was posted on the forum...

I tend to agree with your opinion here based on the wording of the rules. Considering I'm in the same situation, and don't want to make a biased opinion, does anyone else disagree? Absent a co commish right now to make a ruling- I leave it to the league to weigh in on if they disagree.

Seriously though, I think that as long as they are posted here in the forum, then they are legal. We were given the ability to delete to help out, so technically, if the commish did it all on the day they are due, he would go by the forum. So as long as it is in the forum, Im ok with no penalties being assesed.

Thanks for being open minded... I think we were both focusing on contract years and rosters or at least I was... once I cut and pasted I just edited the forum's lineup...

I'm not assessing fines to Sunday or myself as our final rosters were posted in the forum and on time. Owners being responsible for dropping their own players was something new and not in the rules, and something that I had to do for several teams.

It is something I'd like added to the rules for next year though.
