really?? much more line value, and information to gather for an edge in college football than the NFL.
I have been too busy this year to pay close attention to either but generally speaking the good cappers would rank college hoops and football ahead of the NFL for making dough.
That could be the case... I'm just saying that, for me personally, the NFL is easier. But, that's mostly because I follow the NFL way more closely than I do college football, as a whole. I can see what you're saying, if you follow college football really, really closely. I just don't. When I say closely, I mean knowing exactly who, on offense AND defense, isn't playing in a particular game, for both teams. I follow the NFL to that extent, but not college (other than probably Minnesota, obviously). I just have a hard time placing wagers on teams (NCAA) that I couldn't name more than a handful of players for.
That said, I'm not doing too terribly bad in this contest, and not that great betting on NFL this year, so maybe what you're saying IS true. After all, half of my picks in this thing are made solely on past trends and this season's results, without knowing much of anything about particular players on either team. Maybe that in itself should tell me that college football is where it's at... I don't know.
Mostly, though, I just wager on sports for fun... never really spend enough on it to make a difference to me financially, one way or the other.
