I'm enjoying this, the inagural week of Redraft Wars. We have a barn burner of a matchup goin on here. I have a lead, but you have 2 studs left to play against my #3 LB. We both have nice PF's, and may the best roster win! In any case, great matchup! Well done. I hope the Burns get burnt.

Talk about barn-burners... JUICE is up 224-208 on me. I guess that's what I get for mouthing off about total points vs. HTH this week. Might end up with the second highest score for the week, and still lose. Actually, I still have a shot... just need Fred Jackson to outscore Welker and Meriweather by more than 16.

LOL..... yea, H to H makes things interesting. If this was a points league, you'de be in bed comforted with the fact you won. In a league like this, you get 200 points.... that's a great week. You expect to win. Instead you have to sweat it out till the end. Shootouts in this format can be EPIC!

For what it's worth, I was never advocating that this be a total points league... just gave my rationale as to why HTH is not my favorite tie-breaker for playoffs.

I would tend to agree with you, as long as Welker plays. Even if he doesn't, the chances are very slim.

Still very winnable for you. Both McFadden and Moss can go off with big plays and rack up points in a hurry. If I get ten from Poz... 20 each from McF and Moss is a win for you. Could go either way.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Wes Welker (knee) is "expected" to play on Monday Night Football.

Welker was listed as questionable on the injury report and limited in practice all last week, but there was never truly concern that he'd miss Week 1. The Bills figure to have problems stopping him in the slot. They're breaking in a new nickel back (Reggie Corner) and starting strong safety (Bryan Scott).

Geeze... Poz has 6 solos thru a quarter and a half... I'm lookin golden. He gets hurt. Now, I'm lookin at a loss. I have Mayo in another league, Urlacher in another. All down, and it's only week one.
