There was an error in the MFL scoring setup. It was set at -2 for any fumble. I corrected it to -2 pts for LOST fumbles only, as it is in the rules thread. So you may see this correction affect your scores slightly. The change was made today.

Since every team in the league has at least one player going tonight, it didn't change any W-L results in the week one games, as no team has a final score yet. Just a heads up that the adjustments have been made and are reflected in team scoring as of today.

One other scoring-related question... Are we not using decimal scoring for yardage? In other words, right now, it's set up for 1 point for every 20 yards passing, for example... 19 yards passing gets you nothing from that player. I don't know if this was simply an oversight, or if it's the actual way we intended for the scoring to be set up, but I think the decimal system is much more "accurate", in terms of rewarding a player for their performance. Just wanted to throw that out and/or make everyone aware, before we get too far into the season.

The decimal scoring oversight DID change things by several points for all teams. Some leads gong into tonight went down some points, others increased. Both changes were applied for this week, and point totals did change.

I think it's right now.... and again, thanks for catching another mistake before anyone had a final scorefor week 1.

I must have been on drugs for this one. LOL. Seriously I apologize and got the changes made like John said prior to final scroing for the week.

If there are any provisions for scoring changes I would like the following change made to my week 1 score.

(RotoWire) Wilson has been credited with a Week 1 forced fumble thanks to a statistical change that was announced by the NFL on Wednesday, according to the Cardinals' official site.

Analysis: He's almost 30 years old and unlikely to post monster stats like he did from 2004-06, but Wilson still tackles well and chips in a few sacks, interceptions and forced fumbles.

You never know when an extra point or 2 might come in handy. wink.gif

This has been a big issue in a couple of my leagues. Me? I like to go to bed on Monday night knowing if I won or lost. Stat changes also can occur later that week, or even several weeks later. I've see it happen. So, in my POV, even stats tht get corrected early are still not fully corrected stats as corrections can be made for weeks afterwards too.

As of now, the rules don't call for stat corrections. In season rule changes get tricky...

I am very much in agreement with the commissioner. In most of my leagues - it goes by Monday night ending scores. I say it should stay the way it is et-up Monday night stats. pc.gif
