Was this part set up correctly? I know a lot of leagues use decimal scoring, even though the rules may define 1 pt = 20 yards passing, etc. In other words, every passing yard is actually worth .05 points. Did we intend to only award fantasy points to every "group" of 20 yards passing (10 rushing/receiving), or should we have set it up for two decimal places? I don't know if this would affect any of the outcomes for this week's matchups or not, but it's worth discussing before we get too far into the season, especially if it was a simple oversight when we input the rules into MFL.
You are right again... 0.1 is what the Dynasty leagues use, and this is another scoring issue. I had some, actually a lot of help getting MFL set up, but I should have checked things much more closely that I did.
If you want me to make sure that it's set up exactly as the Dynasty Wars leagues are this evening, I can do that... Just let me know.
I also believe that, when changing scoring rules mid-week, MFL gives you the option to have the rule retroactively affect the current week's scores, or not. Seems like it would make sense to have the correct rules in place for the full season, since the intent was to have them set up with decimal scoring, no? Not sure if it would change the outcome of any of this week's games, though. I know one thing for sure... it's probably not going to have enough of an effect to help me get past the JUICE.
Just got off the phone with Connie....c hanges made, and it did affect scoring.
