Recently, 3 teams made taxi squad transactions that are not allowed and needs to be reversed. The Taxi Squad is to be established PRIOR to the season and can only be added to if you acquire a taxi squad player from another team and you have room on your taxi squad. The transactions thatn need fixing are #s 1 and 2 below.

The rules is printed below. The rule is somewhat ambiguous but intent and discussions through the years point to what was said above. The area of weakness that needs to be re-worded is in the 3rd sentence of the 2nd paragraph. It should say something like..."An owner may not replace players promoted from the practice squad or add to the practice squad if there are available spots after the start of the regular season. However, if trading for players on another team's practice squad, an owner has the option of placing them on their Practice Squad (provided there is room made available without exceeding limits) or activating to a roster spot (provided they have an open active roster slot available without exceeding limits)."

So, I tried to place Phillips from the TS to the Ir and the only way I saw to do that was by promoting him first. I can't put a guy from the TS to the IR?

I could be wrong, but I think the bigger issue was your demotion of a player to the TS after the season started.

So what impact does this have on the waivers that just ran, due to illegal demotions and aquiring without dropping players?

Also, during waivers, The Blind Squirrels dropped McKinley (spelling) from Taxi Squad and acquired a player (on active roster). Active roster reads 39 players where max is 38.
I had MFL still set to off-season roster level of 57.

Sugar, Pills is correct, problem really is demoting a player to taxi squad. as for IRing a player on TS, if you can't do it, either DO Jaded or I can get stuff like that done. I'm heading to work and will have to look this over.

What about this portion of the rules?

For each player obtained via waivers, a player must be released (unless the owner is filling roster vacancies due to trading or dropping.) Once a player has been waived, he is eligible to be acquired as a Free Agent on the following Wednesday at 12 Noon ET and thereafter subject to the procedures above.

Can Bunz grab Tulloch just minutes after Czar drops him? What am I missing?

Czar should never had acquired him. If you look at the waiver request post above (w/ the bold areas), you'll notice that Bunz had Tulloch in as her waiver request. If Czar didn't get him in waiver process, Bunz would have. That's how I corrected it. I then reversed Bunz' second option in that waiver round.
