No, it's not too late. I was just in a draft late last night at rtsports.com. They have all types of money levels, but the most popular are the $29.99 entry fee leagues with $250 payout to the wiinner and the $100 entry fee league with a $700 payout. Last year, I played at this site and won 2 out of 3 leagues, so I highly recommend it based on my good fortune. It's kind of strange drafting with folks this late. You get some strange ones on that site, and it's interesting to play with those folks as opposed to all these well-read experts from the huddle. One person didn't even show up and had everything set to auto draft. People were reaching seriously early based on first week performances. Tony Romo was picked 2.08. I like him, but that's too early. Percy Havin went at pick 3.05. Devry Henderson went in Round 7. There may be some advantages playing in a league this late.

The rules require 9 starters including 3 WRs and 2 RBs. I had pick 11 and ended up taking 3 WR's with my first three picks because they were too good to pass up. Here were my first 5 picks in a 12-team PPR league::

1.11 Andre Johnson
2.02 Greg Jennings
3.11 Dwayne Bowe
4.02 Marion Barber
5.11 Reggie Bush (yeah in PPR, why not?)

I did make one huge mistake. I forgot to draft a kicker, and they won't let me pick up any players until next week after the first week's game. D'oh!
