1- Change when rosters are due since 1 week prior conflicts with the waiver run that day or make that final off-season waiver run a day earlier

Id like to do it Sunday at midnight, since you'd have all the team cuts by then, but it's Labor day weekend so we can't expect people to be around to do it, can we? Thoughts?

I guess we can discuss more in the off-season but maybe people who are away can "pretend" its still on Thursday unsure.gif

When players are moved to IR, all future contract years still count against the $90 salary cap, but I'd like to give a $1 credit for the current cap year only. For example, a player moved to IR with a $4 salary would only count as $3 against the salary cap. This "credit" would automatically expire at the end of the season when contracts are rolled over assuming the player comes off IR. Think of it as kind of a reverse dead year if you will.

Rationale - All teams currently get a roster spot exemption for players moved to IR. However, teams can't plan for season-ending injuries and often are hamstrung by the salary cap even trying to sign waiver wire fodder to a 1yr contract, especially when faced with multiple IR moves in a single season.

39 man rosters(100 contract years) and 12 man DTS.

I like the $1 IR credit too.

Just a thought...but I think that a missed field goal should maybe have a negative point or 2

If we want to bump the roster size we might as well bump the number of IDP starters

I'm not super keen on roster size bumping, but I'd be more inclined to go along with adding up to 2 starters (1 offense, 1 defense) if we opted to do so.
