1. Defenses get something for total points against and/or total yds against.

Case in point: Week 1 of 2009 sesaon: SEA 28, STL 0.

SEA gets 5 pts in our scoring system. STL gets 6 pts in our scoring system. Something doesn't look right.

I'll pin this thread so we can discuss this option prior to next season, and any others that members wish to consider.

smaller rosters increase the FA market pool.

PPR .5

LOVE the PPR.

Larger rosters reward those who study ahead of time and know the deep sleepers, instead of those who find about them after week 1. Smaller rosters reduce trading activity. Prefer larger rosters. 20?

I always thought it archaic to not include individual punt/kick TDs...

I am no way trying to mold this league, into the way I run I my own local league, but simply trying to throw out some options (not that you guys would listen to me anyway)..

1.) Defensive scoring (I had the same complaint a few years back, that a team that gave up 40 points, scored more fantasy points than my defense that gave up 7),
We give a big score for a shut out (25 points, very rare).. but we start at 13 points, and your team defense gets one point for holding under 13. For example, this week Wash beat StL 9-7, WSH D got 6 pts, STL D got 4 pts. Personally, I think 17 is the number we should use, but I can't talk the league into it. Most NFL team score 10 and over, each game.

2.) PPR - I have never done it, would be FOR adding it. I like 0.5 for scoring, I think 1 point per, is too much.

3.) Larger roster doesn't bother me. We can trade in this league?

4.) "archaic to not include individual punt/kick TDs" ? I thought my local league was the only fantasy league that STILL did that..
I like having individual punt and kick returners. Again, being rare, we also score them very high (25 Points, but we also score longer TDs more in every way, not just 6 points like in this league) So, I like the idea of trying to throw in a kick/punt returner during your stud WR's BYE week, and try for a big score.

I'd be against that because I already have to put my waiver requests in by Wed at 9am so that those who are concerned can put their waiver picks in after me.

Allow a TE to be used in the flex position. Helpful during byes, injuries, and the such.

turn the 3rd WR into a Flex with RB/WR/TE
Kid Cid
Love to see PPR, maybe even graduated. RB=.5/WR=1/TE=1.5

I have to say that our money league has the "element of surprise" over every other league I've ever seen.

Chuck Levy, Joe Aska, the list is really endless. At ANY time in any game the big play that flips a score can happen (what Phatbear forgot to tell you about that leagues defensive scoring is that only defensive TD's are scoring plays). A 1-49 yard score is 10 pts and anything longer is 20. If your D hauls in a BIG Pick-6, it is rewarded heavily in the league. Only opening the door to more "what just happened here" moments.

able to start 2 TE instead of 3 WR
