Why is FCFS waivers open tonight?
Are we allowed to get FCFS tonight?

Section 6 - Waivers
6.1 Franchises may submit waiver wire requests to the league web site by 9:00 pm ET Wednesday evening.
6.2 The order you place your waivers will determine whom you pick up first.
6.3 If more than one team selects the same player, the team with the worst record will receive the pick.
6.4 The league site will determine the waiver order based on the league tie breaker rules.
6.5 If a team requests more than one player, that team will go to the last waiver position after the first player is
awarded. For each subsequent waiver pick-up that team will be moved to the last waiver position.
6.6 The league site will award players at 9:00 pm EST Wednesday Evening.
6.7 Immediately following the waiver run at 9:00 pm. (Eastern Time) on Wednesday evening, waiver pickups are first come, first served and will
be processed immediately by the web site.
6.8 The first come, first served waiver period will end at 11:00 p.m. EST on each Monday evening of the season. Players that have already played in games before the Sunday deadline are not eligible to be dropped or picked once their games have begun.
6.9 Once the playoffs begin, only teams that are still alive in the playoffs may add or drop players through the waiver system.

Is the deadline Monday Night or before Sundays Games? I'm not quite understanding this.

The deadline depends on when a particular player's game kicks off. It doesn't matter if the player plays Thursday, Sunday, or Monday... they are locked once their game kicks off. Up until then, they can be acquired. Same goes for players on rosters... they can be dropped up until kickoff, but not after. This is why the league calender says that FCFS is open until Monday night... to allow players to be picked up/dropped up until game time.

If you're referring to the two acquisitions that were made today... I realized when I checked into this that there was a loophole in MFL, allowing dropped players to be acquired separately from the waivers process. I reversed the two transactions and emailed the owner who processed them, informing him that he would need to submit waivers requests for the players instead.

Sorry... I was not aware of this loophole, but now that it has been found, it is fixed. Waivers will run tomorrow evening (9 PM EST), with FCFS starting immediately after that.

Thanks for your patience.

Yeah, that was my main concern.

Thanks
