Valhalland Drive (2-1) vs. 1957 and Waiting (2-1)
Neither of these 2-1 teams wants to go on a two game losing streak so this game is huge. MFL has the spread at -1.2 for VD but this looks like it'll stretch more than that for Savage. The combo of Brees and Johnson is solid for Puddy but I believe Holmes will bounce back huge this week. Looking for a ten point win for Valhalland Drive.
The Great Grabowskis (2-1) vs. Hurricane Lombardi (1-2)
Hester and Davis were two guys I thought nothing off before the season. Hester has put up nearly 20 points two outta three games this year and Davis just exploded onto the scene last week with over 30 points. Chavez is going with the two tight end set featuring Carlson and Daniels, who both have had great games this season. If Willie can put up some numbers this week, this could be interesting. I'll take the points that MFL is laying for me (-11.6) but I do believe The Great Grabowskis squeak out a win.
Titletown of Lambeau (1-2) vs. Hammer of the Gods (2-1)
Ah, Cedric Benson. I remember when I traded OchioCinco straight up for him. If only I woulda held on to him...I digress. Grunge's wide outs are nasty meaning awesome and John's wide outs are nasty meaning "uninspiring." While Santana exploded last week, I don't expect the same. If Kevin Smith doesn't do much this week against the Bears, Tony Romo might have to pick up the slack for this team. 16.9 points are a lot to lay for Grunge but I'm gonna do so and pick Hammer of the Gods.
Wayne Fontes International Fan Club (1-2) vs. ARodg Says F You (3-0)
The only unbeaten team in the league is Fatman and he is laying 31.7 points! Are you F'in kidding me? MJD killed me in another league I'm in last week and I do not expect anything close to that performance against a reeling Titans team. They will come to play. The fact that Egret is starting someone from the Browns is well...not good. I'd like to predict that the Ravens will score either the most points or the second most points for his team this week. Dallas Clark will need to do A LOT to cover that 31.7 spread. I'll take the points but ARodg Says F You says F You to all of us and goes to 4-0. Damn.
The Color Purple (2-1) vs. Motown Maulers (1-2)
Motown might be the below .500 team but they are favored by 7.2. This is an interesting matchup. Flacco has been great and I expect him to have a big big game against the Patriots. Love the kid and his arm. Donald Driver will be looking for five receptions Monday night to put him at the top of the all time Receptions list for the Packers. Two great group of WR's and I think Braylon comes back with a nice game to help Gaddis. Shaun Hill will put some points up against the Rams and I expect Ronnie to do well. Ronnie against Ricky? I'll take the former Auburn Tiger and the points, picking The Color Purple to squeak this one through.
Ditka's Demons (1-2) vs. 4 Star Sweetness (0-3)
The only "defeated" team in the league takes on a team that has won two in a row. Pope is favored by 33.2 points! What looked like a great team on paper to begin the season has struggled out of the gate. Frank Gore is hurt and same with LaDainian. Ryan is on a bye along with Leinart but no one cares about him. Robin is hoping Owens finally does something after a week in the headlines. This matchup will come down to the running backs as Julius Jones will put up another impressive effort against the Colts. Also, Hauschka will get some surprise points as Ditka's Demons will cover and win this matchup.
