So I flew to St. Louis last weekend for the Packers-Rams game and met up with a bunch of my high school and college buddies (18 of us, all told). I brought my Packer flag with me and decided to wear it to the game as a cape, All 18 of us got tickets together up in the nose bleeds and did a good bit of drinking before the game. In the third quarter, a couple that was seated in front of us got into a very loud argument. That was fine, but their son (probably about 8) was literally in the middle of it, sitting between them. The man started yelling, very loudly, "F*CK YOU" to the woman. I walked over and said, "Guys, you should really quiet down a bit. And don't do that in front of the kid." The man turned to me, looked me up and down, and said,"Oh yeah? F*ck you, and f*ck your cape." Now, I've been told to f*ck off many times in my life, but you don't say that to a Packer cape. By this time, security had been called and the couple was removed.
Moral of the story: don't disrespect a Packer cape.
