I'm having trouble with the bolded portion of this rule and think it's a bit outdated for our league now. I believe this was written and intended for when we used email for waivers initially in this league, not for MFL. Now with the commish lockout being turned on there is no way a commish can gain any advantage by submitting waivers on the same deadline as the rest of the league. And trutfully, submitting waivers by Tuesday night is a pretty tough to do at times. Basically you get 1 day to determine if you need to pick someone up, a day when the NFL is typically off and not much news breaks.

I'd like to say that going forward commissioners can submit bids by the normal deadline. To keep balance in the league, we'll not be unlocking commish abilities unless needed when waivers are processed on Thursdays; or on an as needed basis for promotions.

Does anyone disagree with this?

4.1.2 FA Schedule
FA begins the first Wednesday after the rookie draft and will run every week until the FDSB Dynasty League Fantasy play-offs start, at which time FA ends. In addition, there will be 2 free agency runs prior to the rookie draft each year. These will be on the first Wednesday in March, and the second Wednesday in May.

FA is a weekly process that opens on Friday at 12 pm Eastern Time, and ends on Wednesday evenings at 11 PM Eastern Time. No pick-ups are allowed after this time until the following Wednesday. All Commissioners/Assistant Commissioners bids are due by Tuesday night at midnight Eastern Time. The Commissioners/Assistant Commissioners can resubmit their bid by the 11 PM Eastern Time Wednesday deadline if a player they bid on in the early bid had his injury status or starting status change after the Tuesday night deadline, or if otherwise substantial news breaks late justifying a change.

I agree that the rule is a waste. As it is, we only have a day to get waivers in. Kinda gay no?

I'm fine with it even if it benefits you too wink.gif

Why not move waivers "officially" to say noon on Thur?
