Earlier in the year (in another league albeit), I lost a last second game when Pennington threw a pick to Antoine Bethea in the last play of the IND v. MIA game. Posted the second highest league total that week.


Fast forward to tonight, I got Kerry Rhodes, Darelle Revis and Kris Jenkins going against Darin's Gibril Wilson. Wilson has been killing me all night but I'm down by 0.2 points late in the 4th quarter and Kerry Rhodes makes a stop on Ronnie Brown with less than a minute to go, putting me up by 1.6. Miami punches it in and I think I got it wrapped.

The squib kick comes and Leonhard immediately falls down. I watch the bomb get thrown and Wilson is not the the guy to bat it down. I can happily turn off the laptop and go to bed with my close win. MFL Gameday finally updates and I see Rhodes tackle go up but Wilson's name is yellow also.

Once again I'm losing by 0.2 points. Wilson scored another tackle! But how? Yup, he was the guy to touch down Leonhard when he gave himself up on the squib kick.




Might be my worst heartbreaker loss ever. Hell of a game d3, shame one of us had to lose that.

Games arent final til Thursday, and with a game that close, it can go both ways... Just like you.
