It was an interesting day in college football.

Many of you know that I am a lifetime Alabama fan. That said:

I thought that Florida and Texas looked shaky today. Alabama did not win overwhelmingly, but they were never behind.

Florida struggled to beat Arkansas, a team Bama beat 35-7.

I think Texas only won because Bradford was injured early - and struggled to win at that.

I would love to hear other thoughts, but I think my team has a chance to top the list.

I don't care if Florida is 1 or 2 or 3. Bottom line is if they win out, including the SEC Championship game, they play for the BCS NC. Same is true for Alabama. If Texas wins out, they'll play for BCS NC.

Was very, very unimpressed with Texas. OU should have won that game...and OU is not a good football team. Not real impressed with Florida either. This could get very interesting.

Alabama deserves to be #1. Personally, I think Cincinatti might be the best team in college football right now but losing Pike might hurt. Even if Cincy wins out they probably don't get to the big game even if Florida and Bama end up with a loss. Texas looked like they don't belong anywhere close to the Top 5.

What, besides win it all last year and bring back a bunch of guys has Florida done to look any better than UT? They're limping past everyone remotely decent. I understand that a win is a win but at what point do we start wondering about these guys.
