This is a pay site - why am I fighting these "new" pop-out adds. I pay here because I don't want that crap.

This "we are red nation" one is quite annoying. Can't it just be kept up in the banner instead of covering most of the page?

While we are not a fan of expanding banners and do limit them, the economic reality is that there are going to be some on this site from time to time.
