I worked my arz off on this deal. Not just with Vic but with a million other offers and PM's. Hope it pays off.
This is not the trade listed on MFL
your Right Tbone... I took the Spurlock one, not the Hackett one as I didn't have the cap space to add Hackett. This is the deal I agreed to:
Washington Redskins gave up Spurlock, Michael SFO WR;Tatupu, Lofa SEA LB;Lewis, Michael SFO S; Year 2010 Round 4 Draft Pick from Kansas City Chiefs
St. Louis Rams gave up Harrison, James PIT LB;Polamalu, Troy PIT S; Year 2010 Round 5 Draft Pick from St. Louis Rams
My bad for not recognizing that

Spurlock has a longer contract then Hackett and you would be 2 years over the CAP instead of 1 year over.
I can reject this trade and you can work it out all over again if you'd like. As of now STL would be over the cap by 1 or 2 years

I can't see whats in MFL. The only thing I thought different than what Vic just said was I thought it was the Redskins #4. Either way though is I am good with it.

Can't approve a trade that will put a team over their contract limit unless there is a cut or IR move involved
This is the deal posted on MFL:
Washington Redskins proposed a trade with St. Louis Rams:
Washington Redskins will give
Spurlock, Michael SFO WR
Tatupu, Lofa SEA LB
Lewis, Michael SFO S
Year 2010 Round 4 Draft Pick from Kansas City Chiefs
To St. Louis Rams for
Harrison, James PIT LB
Polamalu, Troy PIT S
Year 2010 Round 5 Draft Pick from St. Louis Rams
Expires: Wed Oct 28 4:00:00 p.m. ET 2009
Comments: Hope this gets it done

I think the deal put Vic over by 2. I asked him to send me 2 yrs on players that are FA scrubs to even things out.

surprised you don't want another 2 year stud
I am going to reject this trade and you guys submit a new trade. Is that cool so everything is in 1 place?
yeah thats fine... I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue... I swear.
Why STL would want to do this trade is beyond me. Getting a bump in a low pick for a Safety who will probably be out of the league soon and LB with 2 less years

and is on IR or out awhile at the least
I was aware of both of the injury situations with those players. I'm also aware of my record and how old Harrison is and what his scores are based upon, i.e. not tackles but mostly sacks. Tatupu is only 26. I really didn't think it was that bad.. I got younger at a key position in this league...

But you are younger only for next year, he is pretty much done for this year. But hey, as long as you are happy that is what matters.

(RotoWire) After a further review on Tatupu's torn chest muscle Monday, the Seahawks have decided that he may not miss the rest of the season after all, the Associated Press reports. "That might have been a little premature," coach Jim Mora said. "We'll keep our fingers crossed there." Analysis: An MRI revealed only a partial tear, not the full one doctors announced Sunday. He'll likely miss Seattle's next game (at Dallas on Nov. 1), but could return in a couple of weeks if his rehab goes well. The team is expected to announce a timetable later this week after further testing.
(KFFL) The Associated Press reports San Francisco 49ers SS Michael Lewis (concussion) is unlikely to land on the Injured Reserve list despite suffering three concussions this year, according to head coach Mike Singletary. The team hopes to know more information on Lewis' injury in the coming days. "As of right now the early prognosis is that he's OK," Singletary said. "We'll have to monitor that going forward. I want to listen to what they tell us after the testing and make decisions going forward."
For the Rams who can afford to wait on thses guys till next year he gets a nice young LB. Troy is prone to injury as well.

I hope you realize what you have posted only helps your case and not Vicsters, but he is happy with the trade and that is what matters. How can you honestly say it is helping him for 1 year of Lofa as opposed to 4 on a older LB? As long as you can sleep at night it's all good

Lewis has 3 concussions this year alone
Spurlock 4 years?????? Has the guy ever even caught a pass in the NFL and will he make the team next year?
Why do you think FBJ had to work so hard to get a deal done

And yet they still cannot win.

You forgot the punch line.
Did you hear Frank Cal ripping the Skins in the pregame comedy routine?
