Just an idea...

Would it save the PC some time if we allowed owners to promote players from their taxi squads, demote newly acquired players to their taxi squads, drop players and place their own players on IR?

The PC would still have to assign contracts as needed and adjust for dead years and owners should still post moves they make in the forum, but overall this would save the PC time.

We allow this in ATAP, and it seems to have worked well so far.

Not adamantly for it, just trying to save Mr. DKF a few minutes. He is in ATAP as is Keg and tbimm, so maybe they have an opinion on the subject smile.gif

It seems to work well there as well as in AFL where we have been doing that for 2 years now.

I prefer having it run through one person so that we don't have to worry about contract years getting away from us and end up with issues where someone had an invalid roster after a week is past.

Either way the PC has to be involved just as well to have him oversee the entire process rather than catch up later. In addition, having the owner who wants to get it done and the PC there are two people with vested interest in making sure everything is processed correctly all at one time.

I know people get busy from time to time so I will make sure to check in Friday mornings and get anything lingering from the week processed.

Agree with this wholeheartedly.
