Egret
What!?! You thought we could get through a weekly preview without a spooky holiday reference? No dice. Not on my watch. Here's the utterly cheesy weekly preview. Now with extra screams... and riboflavin!

Four Star Spookiness vs. The Great Grabooskis

QBs- I'll give the edge to Matt Ryan and Four Star Spookiness. Ryan should end up in a shootout w/ New Orleans.
RBs- Frank "Blood and" Gore fits too well on a Halloween preview. Another edge to Spookiness.
WR- Estaban Ochocinco and Reggie Wayne pack a mean punch. Devin Hester and BBerry aren't a match.
TE- I refuse to comment on the resurgence of Vernon Davis.
The rest- Four Star Spookiness is like a summer blockbuster. They've got all the star power that you would want. It all depends on the weekend competition.

I'll take Spookiness and take it to the bank like a vampire... a blood bank.

Motown Mall Walkers vs. Nightmare on Valhalland Drive

QBs- Phillip Rivers will make Marc Bulger his bitch.
RBs- Here's the funny thing about fantasy football. Ryan Grant and Steven Jackson are much better than Ricky Williams and Tim Hightower. Too bad that Ricky and Timmy will outscore them.
WRs- This has some pretty intriguing matchups. It's a close call. Nightmare on Valhalland Drive's WRs have shorter names. I think that makes a difference in weight on the uniform. I'll give them the edge.
TE- Are the Bears still getting blown out? I'm going to guess that they are. Brent Celek will make more plays.
The rest- Why mall walkers? How does that fit in with Halloween? Those are valid questions. Have you ever seen early morning mall walkers? If you have, you may find it scary. Phillip Rivers will be too busy making Marc Bulger his bitch to lead on the rest of his team. The Mall Walkers will pull out another victory.

Evil Hammer of the Gods vs. Ditka's Demons (Thanks RR for keeping with the Halloween spirit thmbup.gif)

QBs- Big Ben on a bye might be a better option for the Demons than Delhomme or David Carr. Just sayin'. Peyton Manning takes the easy edge here.
RBs- Adrian Peterson is a man among other men. He'll get the job done again. Another edge to Evil Hammer. Huh, I just thought about that. A good picture for this team would be a picture of MC Hammer. That would strike fear into the heart of Puddy. No way could he ever pull off moves like that. True story, I once saw Hammer in concert at the Joe in Detroit. There were an amazing amount of dancers on the stage. I bet Puddy would have liked those moves. Nobody parachuted down from the ceiling only using their pants as a safety device like Hammer did in his Taco Bell commercial. How scary does your team sound now Hammer? Go get me a nacho!
WRs- Even w/ Randy Moss on bye, Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em is still able to start four quality WRs. I have a bajillion WRs on my team and I struggle to start three. F'n Hammer.
TE- Are you f'n kidding me? Manning, Adrian Peterson, great WRs, and now Tony Gonzalez at TE? Another edge to Hammer.
The rest- Man, Hammer is f'n loaded. Just remember how quickly bankruptcy can happen. unsure.gif Since I can't make fun of the actual team, let's see another Hammer video. It even fits in with a Halloween theme.

Horrorcane Lombardi vs. Titletown of Zombie Lambeau

QBs- Tony Romo vs. K Warner. Kurt Warner has got to be part of the living dead by now. That guy has taken a lot of punishment over the years. As a rule, I generally don't mess with the undead, especially close to Halloween.
RBs- Huh. This lineup is scary without anymore of my bad jokes.
WRs- As long as QBoldin can play, I'll give the edge to the Zombie Lambeau.
TEs- Here's where Horrorcane Lombardi's bread gets buttered. He takes care of Owen Daniels and Owen Daniels takes care of him. Edge to Lombardi here.
The rest- It's tough to have a winner when the person with the most points is still a Packer fan at the end of the day. I'll pick the Horrorcane over Zombie Lambeau.

Wayne Fontes International House of Pain vs. 1957 and Wanted for Mayhem

QB- McNabb has been good to me over the years, but he's no Drew Brees. Edge to '57
RB- I'm only starting one. Maybe Bush will rush for all the TDs so Brees won't have to pass. unsure.gif
WR- With all the WRs on my team, I should have the edge. Even though the names are shorter on Fontes, there's too much of a talent gap between the two teams. Edge to '57.
TE- Awww yeah. I have embrace the ways of Chavez. My TEs are like $240 worth of pudding. Edge to Fontes.
The rest- I'm gonna get my ass kicked again. At least I'll be sitting in pudding.

***Game of the Week***

ARodg Says Boo! vs. The Color Purple
(Whoopi Goldberg is a little scary)

These teams are pretty close all over the matchup. I see a close game here. Both teams have winning records. I'll give the edge to ARodg says Boo!. I also ran out of cheesy Halloween jokes mid-way through this write-up. It's late, and I leave with you more of Puddy dancing.

Oh and very creative work Egret. clap.gif

Although Motown Maulers seemed appropriate already (may not mall walker appropriate though think.gif )

thmbup.gif Good stuff Egret.

My lineup looks wonky due to being smashed by the bye week. The fact that it is even slightly credible kinda surprised me.
Savage Beatings
Great stuff!

Very clever. clap.gif
My matchup is scary! shocking.gif And thanks to the extra hour sleep tonight, I get an extra hour of nightmares.
Last week I had Westy and/or Cooley going on Monday in three leagues down <10 pts. each. Need I say what happened??? shocking.gif That was downright scarier. And people wonder why I drink. Before FF, the strongest thing I ever drank was coffee. shades.gif

My TEs are spooking the competition! That being said, it's time for a fire sale on my team. Anyone need a player? I will trade anyone for draft picks!

Consider me spooked! Now I definitely have to watch the whole game tomorrow.

Daniels done for the season. Ack.

Hey Puddy, still want to trade for him?

I know. I posted about that rejected trade in the Daniels thread in the main forum. Sucks big time. I have him in my other dynasty league too. Going to hurt big time as I'm currently in first place and was running the Daniels/V. Davis two tight-end set.

I'm certainly hoping your assessment of Miller/Carlson as a good duo is dead-on for the rest of the season.

If Boss is out for any significant time, Travis Beckum may be getting his call up to the bigs.
