I have run into this in the past. The way it has worked is that in order to put him on IR you have to assign him at least a 1 year contract. You get credit for the year because he is IR but he is no longer DTS eligible.

Absolutely not. IR is for players under contract. Assign a contract to a player and he can go on IR.

MFL only allows 3 IR players on a roster. What we'll do is designate Wynn an IR player (or any player over the 3 allowed in MFL). In Zooty's case, his roster will have 41 players, and a salary adjustment of -1 will be made to get his contract number back in place.

This has been fixed.
