I'm not sure the name of the brew will make it through the language filter here, but I may have found a new favorite. Man O Man is this a good brew.

Stone's brews are always pretty spendy, but man, are they worth it.

if you really like, or are just really in the mood for, hops, stone is the best in the business IMO.

We sell the oak aged arrogant and the straight pale ale. Both fine brews. Good enough for me to look past the fact that the dudes who run the place seem pretty effing full of themselves and we pretty much a-holes when they came to the market. The "You're not worthy" bit... it's not an act. They really seem to feel that way.

But the bottle is really funny

Except for the fact that the person holding the bottle is pretty much undeniably not the person they're supposedly talking to. So then the joke becomes sort of lame because it's basically nothing more than some stupid inside joke among vinegar bags who can chuckle about how much cooler they are than those who don't understand beer. I get it, you're into beer, and the big boys are into image and swill. And to think, I almost grabbed a Budweiser before I thought better of it and spent $20 on a sixer of your ale. Good thing I'm cool.

Few things annoy me more than beer or wine geeks who crack themselves up making jokes about beer and wine. "Hey, beer/wine guy, it's not funny. Wine's not funny. It's not serious either, but it's certainly not funny. There's no anecdote about beer/wine so charming, witty, or funny, that it warrants the story teller stifling a bit of laughter as he says it. Seriously. You want to wax poetic about craftsmanship and all. I'm with you. Just save me the jokes or "funny" stories about idiots who don't get it because I've heard them all. We've all freaking heard them all."

Sorry, rant over.

You really should try Ninkasi. Very nicely hopped beers.
