Why is this trade already completed in MFL?

1- Was not accepted in the forum by both owners
2-Weekly trade deadline is already over

4.3.2 Deadlines
The weekly trading deadline is 48 hours before the start of that weeks NFL games. The season trading deadline is 48 hours before the start of the week 10 NFL games. Trades will not be considered "official" until the LLD Player Commissioner has reviewed the trade and processed.

If you have commish powers, it is a good idea to know the rules.

I think it got processed in MFL because I was logged in as a commish when I accepted it. I went into trades, had to select my team, then chose to accept. Apparently MFL bypasses the commish approval process when I do that. What sucks is Opie and I did agree on this trade before the 48 hour deadline but I am at a work conference and have had scarce access to computers the last couple days. I'm playing hookey right now actually. He proposed it to me after a series of PMs where we agreed upon the basic elements of the trade, I just couldn't get to a computer fast enough to accept. Deadline wasn't missed by much I think. If we need to reverse this to go through the proper protocol, so be it (though I was specifically trying to get this trade done in time for week 9, just had real life get in the way).

If I recall correctly, this has happened before. Maybe for next year we should have a rule that says
anyone with commish powers can only log in as commish if they are doing official league business.
I thought you gave up being RMC anyway. So how many people in this league can now log in as
commish? If you still are the RMC, then another rule was broken
4.3.1 Process
Trades between teams are unlimited. When a trade is proposed, the following will occur:
A. Offering owner must offer the trade using MFL.
B. Accepting owner must accept the trade using MFL.
C. Roster Management Commissioner will be notified via a post in the League forum stating that a trade has been offered/accepted on MFL by BOTH owners involved in the trade.

Any trade involving the Roster Management Commissioner will be adjudicated by the League Commissioner.

Rules are there for a reason, if we break one, why not all.

So is this trade valid or not? I got excited seeing that i would be sorta of an advantage in this weeks matchup but i understand about the work situation, so its all good with me. Just wondering what the other league owners think.

To what? The trade is fine, but it can't be processed till next week.
It needs to be reversed in MFL and redone next week.

Yeah, it looks like this was an accident with MTSuper7 not realizing that he was logged in as Commissioner, thus the trade went through instead of going to review. Thanks MTSuper7 for reversing the trade for now.

Mr. Big should now resubmit the trade and From Denver With Love should accept it logged in as From Denver With Love. Once that is done, then both Mr. BIg and From Denver With Love need to accept in this forum. The trade will be reviewed by WashingtonD, and the earliest it can go through is Tuesday.

Sorry if I came across like an Azz but I just want these transactions done fairly and correctly.
Once you have too many people doing things, sometimes things get confusing.

I'll talk to Matt on Monday. One of the motivating factors to our trade discussion on Thursday was that he needed a DEF this week. My bad on the delays.
