Before I moved to NC, a few of my friends would come over every Sunday to watch the game and we called it "Sunday Festivus".

Anyone in the Raleigh area interested in getting together and watching games together?

I have the dish and NFL Sunday Ticket, but sitting here watching the games alone each week gets a bid old.

Thoughts?

Yes, we had "Feet of Strengths" at halftime!

MMMMM, sunday ticket. I'll definately take you up on a Sunday or two this year Dave, not sure which ones though. Unfortunately I have to cover for a buddy of mine this weekend and will be working Sunday. g-hoppingmad.gif

I'll have to plan on a week to come down...maybe a poker game during the real games?

I need to get the dish. Comcast just doesn't cut it.

I understand, after moving to NC, I thought I could go without the dish for a season and stick with Time Warner. Well, as of October first, I couldn't take it anymore and called in the Satellite people. I was concerned over the number of trees in my yard. As of October 11th, I had two dishes, a receiver with Tivo, Sunday ticket. After seeing 13 games a week, I was shocked with how much it sucked watching the 1-3 games on Cable each week. YUK!

Depending on where you guys live, the guy who hooked me up set me up with 3 receivers and Tivo receiver for $50. I can give you his number, as he is fantastic.

Otherwise, you can simply head over my joint and watch the games!! smile.gif

Just call ahead, as we can decide what to eat and what's needed for snacks! Cell: 919-606-9792

I have a full flat acre in my backyard too, which is nice for tossing the pigskin around.
