Draft day is almost settled. It looks like it is Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 8:30 PM ET. It is going to be over at our our MFL website. If you can't log in over there let me know so I can fix you up with a password. Kick the tires over there and get ready for our live draft.

Little things you should know.

We are going to draft 16 people. You can fill your roster anyway you like but make sure you draft a starting lineup. Draft starts at 8:30pm ET on Tuesday and you will have two minutes per pick.

Speaking of stating lineups. They will be flexible.
1 QB always
1 to 3 RB's
2 to 4 WR's
NO TE
1 K
1 D

There are going to be a total of 8 starters with two of those spots being flexible between RB and or WR.

There will be a waiver wire each week that will run worst to first. It will run on Thursday nights at about 11pm ET. FCFS will open right after that and will run until the first game of the week. This day will be moved up for weeks with a Thursday game and the waiver will run on Wednesdays for those weeks.

Twelve teams that will be in two divisions. You will have one head to head game vs every team in the league.

Playoffs will be made up of the two division winners and the top 4 other teams not to win a division.

Playoff format will be just like the nfl in that the two division winners will have a bye during week 14 then it will be high seed, (best team) vs low seed etc.

Lineups will be due five minutes before their game starts.

We will use the MFL website.

Rankings will be sorted by this criteria:
Winning Percentage.
Head to Head Record.
Total points.
Points against. (high)

Wavier will be sorted by this criteria:
Winning Percentage.
Total Points.
Head to Head record.

Drafter order and division alignment will be based on your lottery roll. Instructions for that will be in a different post.

That’s about it and as I told you all in PM’s, this league is going to keep it simple. Basic simple rules that make sense. Trades will all be approved unless there is some form of collusion which I just can’t see with this group.

Speaking of trades, they must be made and accepted by any and all parties involved no later than twenty four hours before any game that a player is going to play in in order for that player to be started for the new team.

Oh and trading deadline is right before week 11’s games.

Added this to the post on September 25

Stat changes will be made any time there is an official stat change issued by our stat provider so long as it happens before the next Sunday's round of games. In other words that is seven days expect for the MNF game which would be six days for any official stat change.

Any player picked up from waivers can not be dropped in the week that it was picked up. You can trade that player but that player can not be dropped from your roster.

One rule that I did forget to put in there is a tiebreaker for playoff weeks.

This is the rule that I forgot to post with the rest of what you need to know.
QUOTE
Tied playoff games will be broken by a predetermined bench player from each team.  If still tied the higher seeded team wins the game.
So those in the playoffs will have to name a backup player. I'll try to see how/if I can get the MFL site to let us do that but otherwise we will need to post them here.

I swear I replied to this last night. :scrachinghead:

DGF - I don't think that I set them. I think that you set them yourself. You will have to change the 2005 to 2004 as there are no stats yet for 2005. Or just click here, http://football25.myfantasyleague.com/2005...Y=points&TEAM=*

DGF.....it's just the dropdown box for the year on the Top Performers page. It's defaulting to 2005.

Skip....one more thing....when you say NO TEs.....does that also mean we can't use TEs as WRs?

Thank you for bringing this one up. No that does not mean that you can't draft and use a TE as a WR. For our league TE's are considered WR's. You don't need to draft or start any TE.
