It would be nice to have a solid TE going into the home stretch of the season and needing to win some games. Has anyone heard an update on his status?

Ya - his status is that he's a piece of sh-t. He was my 4th rd pick and I'm seeing guys like Gates, Witten, and Johnson blow up as my team spirals downward.

Seriously though. I feel your pain and am hoping for the same.

ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown said that he has severe ligament damage and that it would have been better if he'd broken the ankle. Supposedly the Ravens have been very close to putting him on IR several times, but still hold out a little hope he'll be back...eventually.

That's what I heard too. It's possible he'll appear in week 13, but unlikely.

Same here....4th round.

He actually attemtped practice yesterday but couldn't complete it. From what I read if he gets thru a full practice they'll try to play him. He may be a possibility next week.

If its 3 more weeks it wont matter then, as I'll miss the playoffs anyway. What a waste of roster space.....
