For me, I've been very surprised at the lack of production out of Rashaun Woods and Reggie Williams.

I thought both of those guys had great chances to put up some VERY nice numbers...and neither one has done anything!

While I'm at it, any homers have any insights on the lack of productivity coming from either of these guys?
HighKite
Kevin Jones..I thought he was the real deal but he is to slow to hitting holes and is indecisive.
Glabra
Michael Jenkins..He's not even seeing the field. Given their putrid receiving corps, he must be really screwing up in practice.
Egret
Kevin Jones. He's had all of the opportunities and none of the results. He's trying to cut-back on just about every run. Cory Schlesinger is one of the best fullbacks in the league, and Jones can't follow him through a hole.
WaterMan
Palmer, eventhough he sat out a year and isn't a rookie.

Oh, great! I just traded for this guy looking for a late-season surge. He missed some games earlier in the season with an ankle injury, so that detracted from some of those opportunities. Looks like he got all the last carries last weekend. Plus, he has some favorable matchups coming up. We'll see what happens. Sounds like some of you have seen him play, though, and indecisive running and not following his lead blocks certainly doesn't sound too good.

Tatum Bell.

Denver had used everyone except him. g-bash.gif

I believe he is supposed to be getting more PT starting this week.

Any rookie RB named Jones. All the hype and threads about these guys before the season and .... zilch... nada.... pfffft....

Bit surprised by Bell also. Not sure what happened there, but I think that he must have really PO'd the Football Gods or something. Of course, if you never take the field you can never 'underperform' since you aren't 'performing' at all.

Kevin Jones. While the WRs mentioned haven't done as well as some expected it isn't unusual for rookie WRs to struggle. If there is a position where a rookie can make an immediate impact it is RB. Jones had the perfect situation. He had the talent, he was pretty much unchallenged for the starting job, and playing for a coach whose history shows he like to run the ball. He just hasn't been able to stay healthy long enough to be productive.

Gotta agree with Big John here. The hype surrounding this guy was enough, but when they actually used a early pick (for them) to select him, I thought the chances were very high that he'd get the rock.

I just completed a deal that sent him away from my keeper league because I don't want to be in a position to even consider him next year when the hype starts rolling about how good he looks in that system.

Good riddance! 5 whole pts. this year and never a start. Good bye.

He got on the wrong side of Shanny by not reporting and then getting hurt in his first practice. unsure.gif

I would agree though that it has been a disappointment.

Exactly- holdout plus several injuries= no PT.

Too bad because if he were completly healthy when Griffin went down you gotta think he'd have gotten a shot before Droughns. Ruben was in the right place at the right time and took the oppotunity and ran away with it.

And there is nothing that tells me, injury notwithstanding, that it isn't his job again next year. The team would be crazy, and Droughns would be crazy, if they felt differently.
