This was against 3rd string defenses except for one game I believe. If Eli has success, there will be 2 QBs(Vick) that SD has let slip away from them.

I'm seriously hurting at WR with Moss out, so I picked up Toomer. I like your prediction as long as most of those passing yards and the TD go to Amani and not Tiki or Shockey.

Now I have that song stuck in my head again.

And I think I will bench Toomer this week.

SD is not missing Vick considering they got LT, Tim Dwight, Reche Cadwell (who was having a good year before he blew out his knee) and was still able to draft Drew Brees who is finally having a good year.

As far as She-li goes the chargers got Rivers, keating who is having a great rookie year and was a big need, Roben Oben LT from Tampa (used NYG pick to trade for) and next years #1.

SD might have let Vick and Manning slip away but the are not hurting for it.

As for She-li I think she will have a tough first couple of games but he will come around. Tiki and Toomer are good weapons if he gets time.

Let's, hope if Brees doesn't stay, they get a quality QB.
