It may or may not make sense to pin this...just depends on whether we want to consolidate this type of thread prior to setting something up on MFL.
Anyway, I'd like to pick up a "top tier" LB.
The most obvious assets I have to trade (I think) are Brees, draft picks, FA $, or may be a WR.
Just PM me if you have any ideas.
Thanks so much,
Apathy
I'm looking for top tier LB and/or WR.
I'm open to most on my roster being available for trade or Confusion Dollars or draft picks. PM me if you have LB and/or WR to trade.
I will be reviewing rosters also to see who I might be particularly interested in.
Woodson is available. Would consider offers for Westbrook as well.
I enjoy trading and would listen to all offers. At this point I don't need many players and would prefer to trade for draft picks or cash.
The following players are definitely available:
DL Dwight Freeney, IND - I think I have too many DL players. I would be satisfied to start Schobel & Kampman and keep a few of my depth guys. Freeney is a similar player to Peppers who was traded for a 1st round pick so it would take a similar deal to get him.
TE Boo Williams, NO - My depth at TE makes Boo available. He has 74 catches & 7 TD the last 2 years.
DL Ebenezer Ekuban, DEN
DL Jason Ferguson, DAL
DL David Bowens, MIA
DL Bobby Hamilton, OAK
DL John Thornton, CIN
These 5 guys are all solid veterans, ranked 29th to 57th in Fusion scoring last year. Meaning they are good for a #3 or bye week / injury replacement DL. I would probably trade any 1 of them for a mid-late rookie draft pick, or a few ConFusion bucks. (Buy early to beat Free Agency).
LB - Jeremiah Trotter - PHI
I wish I had back the $175 I spent on him. I could use it to get Dilfer. Seriously, I am overstocked at LB and this is the guy I am making available. He had an off year in 2004 with only 60 tackles & 9 assists, but in the previous 5 years he only had 1 year with less than 110 combined tackles & assists. A solid starter at an important position. Make me an offer.
LB Carlos Emmons - NYG
A career high 97 tackles & assists in 2004 after ranging from 59 to 84 the past 6 years. 43rd in Fusion last year. A nice #3 linebacker, very available.
DB Brian Dawkins - PHI
DB Troy Vincent - BUF
A couple older DB's, I've got more than I need and am willing to part with them pretty cheap.
I also have a few taxi-eligible players that can be had:
TE Matt Kranchick - PIT
2nd year TE out of Penn State. With the Steelers getting Heath Miller, talk nice and this guy can be a throw-in in almost any deal I make.
DL Chad Lavalais - ATL
2nd year DT from LSU, played all 16 games for the Falcons. 24 tackles, 4 assists, 2 fumble recoveries.
DB Tony Bua - MIA
2nd year from Arkansas, wears #51, played in 7 Dolphin games last year.

I would like to upgrade at RB and WR.
I have an extra DB and or and extra LB to give to improve in these positions. I would also intertain coupling a couple of the younger recievers that I have for one really good reciever.
I also wouldn't mind trading two of my lesser LB's for a better LB, if someone has a good one, but needs some depth.
I would also consider trading either Leftwich or Pennington in a package deal with another of my player for a lesser QB and either a RB or WR.

I will entertain offers for a top 3 Rookie RB.
Let me know if you're interested before the draft, so I can plan out my rookie auction strategy. I know I can't guarantee a specific RB, but I'm guaranteed one of the 3.

I might be interested
Looking to get a QB, Draft picks are available as well as a possible trade with one of the top 3 R/Bs in the rook draft but, I would be looking to get a decent vet r/b in exchange.
If I can't get a QB Kevin I'll have to bid up on Dilfer.
We should cue Trent in on this message board.
This is as popular as he's ever been

I now have two first rounders next year, along with Priest Holmes back up and successor Larry Johnson. I'm looking for RB's. I'm thinking this is worth at least an RB1 and and RB2 (RB 2 could be a rookie). I will not start making any offers until after the top 3 or four rookies are auctioned off, but feel free to make me some offers in the meantime.
Well, this may be a case of counting my chickens before they've hatched, but I should have a #1 pick (from Juan) and I'm willing to trade it for a "top" LB straight-up or for a LB and player(s) / lower draft pick(s).
Thanks!

Tell you what, give me your first round pick next year instead
and you got a deal.
Time to update my "On the block" list:
QB - Ryan Fitzpatrick, STL *
WR - PK Sam, NE *

DL - David Bowens, MIA
DL - Bobby Hamilton, OAK
LB - Kendyll Pope, IND *

DB - Reggie Howard, MIA
Guys with the * by their name are all taxi-eligible. All these guys can be had very cheaply, package a few for a late pick or some ConFusion Ca$h.
Now that the auction's over, we need to perform some housekeeping. First off, no one on our squad is untouchable, but it will take a HECK of a deal to pry C-Pepp and Alexander from our grubby little fingers.
We need a backup kicker. Boring, I know. We've sent out a few feelers to see if anyone's willing to trade. We'd also be amiable to a deal where we give you a late-round draft pick for your kicker, then trade said kicker back to you (after he covers Vanderjagt's bye) for a later-round pick.
We have an awesome array of young DLs: Pollack, James and Spears... we'd consider packaging one of them with draft picks and CF$ for a backup-type RB. Obviously, RBs are extremely hard to come by, but we're in need... so want to throw it out there.

Its sad when he is looking to upgrade these 'trash' players for 'decent' players.

They sure look like upgrades to my roster.
Rookie RB Damien Nash (tenn) is on the block.
In an effort to make DKF feel much better about his roster, I thought I'd place these guys on the chopping, uh, I mean offering block. If anybody has any interest, please let me know. A bunch of them can be had for a song with a nice beat to it.
In contrast to these players, my other guys are available but will be difficult to part with.
