  1. Milk Carton week 3

Fitz has been pretty darn bad today - lots of poor throws & decisions, but his WRs have done him no favors ... 2 INTs were off passes that his own WR tipped up into the air, and on the last (#4 on the day) B. Marshall never even turned to look for the ball.
  2. Browns QB question

Perhaps Pryor should have been in at PK? Still, it is tough to not feel bad for Cody Parker ... signed by the Browns what, yesterday? Today ... missed 3 FGs including the potential (46 yard?) game winner, that is just so Cleveland. Apparently it did not take him long to become a full-fledged Brown.
  3. Now available is the 2013 Wtd Avg Projections Spreadsheet General Release #3. As a follow-up to the 2013 GR.1 and GR.2 files, this updated edition includes revised/updated projections from one FF website, and also adds one new set of projections not available at the time of the GR.1/GR.2 releases earlier this year. In addition, 4 FF site partial projections updates (see the Release Notes tab in the GR.3 file) have been implemented, and the ADP tab has been refreshed. Here is the download link to the 2013 site: download link. After using the link above to navigate to the download site, right-click on each file to download, or select the desired files by using the appropriate checkbox, then download as a bundle; please be sure to DOWNLOAD the files only, do not attempt to unzip and/or open the files while on the download site. Once the file(s) have been downloaded to your local computer, unzip the GR.3 file and open with Excel. Note - the original GR.1 and GR.2 files are also available at this same download location, please be sure to select the GR.3 file if you are looking for the most recent edition only. As a reminder, please review the Release Notes tab after downloading & extracting the data file; see also the earlier release notification posts (links below) for additional background information: 2013 GR.1 release thread 2013 GR.2 release thread Finally - my expectation is that this will be the LAST spreadsheet update for this season - good luck to all in your various FF drafts this year, and note also that it seems likely I'll not be preparing this spreadsheet next season, for a variety of reasons. Late edit > I noticed this morning that there was a duplicate C. Givens on the WR tab - that has now been corrected, the NOS/STL editions of Givens have been properly 'split' and the GR.3 version of the spreadsheet file has been refreshed on the download site. No change in file name, but the Givens correction is noted on the Release Notes tab. Carry on.
  4. Steven Jackson hurt

Other notable injuries this week: - P. Thomas (NOS) foot, questionable - J. Manziel (CLE) hamstring, questionable - P. Harvin (NYJ) ribs, questionable
  5. Fantasy Football Superbowl Sunday

Per CBS, Johnny Foosball is out of the game with a hammy injury, so that's likely a good start, at least for Gordon owners that are still using him ... what say CLE fans?
  6. no Joique?

    Last Play: 1-10-DET 45 (Q2/11:26) J.Bell left tackle to DET 49 for 4 yards (B.Dunn).
  7. When talking about the FF playoff or super bowl game in H2H leagues, the fantasy matchup might also come into play, meaning if (for example) I'm playing some team that is averaging substantially more FF points per game than me, I'd be less inclined to sit a "slumping" name player for the "safe" bet of someone else ... ie, maybe swing for the fences on the slim chance for a 125/2 day from a Josh Gordon (risking him posting 25/0 or some similar debacle) rather than settle for a more likely 65/0 game from say, Brandon LaFell ... since the "sure" 65/0 output probably won't be enough for me to win my FF game anyways.
  8. Week 15 Milk Carton Thread

With a corresponding impact on Josh Gordon ... CLE goes 3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out ... and so forth. I expected some real short passes to Gordon just to try & have him make something happen with his speed, but if the CLE offense is not on the field, no chances for anybody. Ugly. Also - R. Jennings left the game early with an ankle injury, has not returned since.
  9. Milk Carton Thread

The officiating crew in the SEA-PHI game seems to be absent ... I have no FF horse in that game , but the number of missed, bad and/or no calls in this game is pretty amazing. As a fan, I can only hope this crew is at the bottom on the list in grades and thus won't be involved in the NFL playoffs.
  10. Week #11 Injuries

Injury updates: - M. Ball (DEN) limped off the field, groin per CBS game announcers - J. Thomas (DEN) in the locker room, ankle per CBS game announcers
  11. Week #11 Injuries

Did not see this posted elsewhere, just came up on Roto a short time ago ... B. Cooks (NOS) has a broken thumb, out 2-4 weeks.
  12. Week #11 Injuries

Not a surprise for those that saw the injury play, but per Roto, E. Sanders is officially in the NFL concussion protocol process ... in related news, J. Thomas has an ankle sprain but not a "high" sprain, FWIW.
  13. Where is the grievance thread ?

Good grief ... really tired of week in/week out L. McCoy having turned into Leroy Hoard without the TDs. End grievance rant for now.
  14. Thanks a lot Kyle Rudolph!

The zero targets (per Roto) did not help his productivity.
  15. Week #11 Injuries

    - Greg Jennings (MIN) out with a rib injury (Roto).
  16. Week #11 Injuries

Sanders update from the game announcers, he will not return today, but is back on the sidelines.
  17. Week #11 Injuries

No news since he went to the locker room.
  18. Week #11 Injuries

    - E. Sanders being helped off the field after a mammoth hit to the head ... no official news on status yet. E2A: Now walking to the locker room under his own power, sideline reporter states 'to be evaluated for concussion' ... no shock there.
  19. Fred Jackson

Update from Roto posted just a short time ago: Fred Jackson (groin) is inactive for Week 11 against the Dolphins.F-Jax himself broke the news on Twitter. It leaves Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon as the Bills' backs
  20. Carson Palmer

Update per Roto a few minutes ago: The Cardinals believe Carson Palmer tore his left ACL in Sunday's Week 10 win over the Rams.
  21. Ronnie hillman update?

Supposedly, Hillman sat out much of the 2nd half as a "precaution", and as for Anderson ... nice day today, but he won't get to play vs OAK every week & with Ball on the mend, that backfield could get crowded. What I found most interesting from this game however was James Jones ... total of 20 yards on 8 catches for a 2.5 yards per catch average. Huh? Really? It is tough for RBs to have a rushing average that low ... just too funny.
  22. Martavis Bryant

I think he had 2 drops today, but 1 was not the easiest catch ever, so not sure how it was officially scored ... regardless, his production on limited targets in general has been pretty satisfactory thus far.
  23. Who is Boobie Dixon that plays on BUF?

Never knew that Anthony Dixon had a nickname, but then again I never really game it much thought either.

Seven catches for 69 yards on perhaps 8 or 9 targets for Brown maybe is not his "usual" 8-110-1 line, but he missed out on a TD by maybe a half-yard, being pushed OOB at the last moment. PIT has been just awful today in every way on offense, although Bell has managed to do "ok" with no help from the game plan or his o-line. Down 2 scores with ~7 minutes left, seems he still has a chance to pad his FF stats assuming PIT can get the NYJ running game off the field.
  25. Where are they?

I saw something about Bush being hurt early (on CBS Sportsline) but no details, so don't know what his status is ... and since BAL has barely had the ball so far, no work for Tali as far as I know. In unrelated news, it sure looks like the NFL zebras were sent a memo during the week from the league office about WR 'pick plays' and offensive pass interference rules being aggressively enforced ... I've noticed like 4-5 offensive pass interference calls around the various early games today, and we are only partway thru Q2.
