  1. Agree with rest on Rawls. Hill could see a fair share if the game is close, but Rawls should be the lead guy in Seattle today.
  2. Chalk up another vote for Gurley. He's going to get the ball as much as they can give it to him. The only downside on Gurley could be the potential for game script. If GB takes an early lead he may not see as many carries. I'm not sure if they're using him as the pass catching back also so I couldn't comment on if he'd be utilized there.
  3. Was planning on start Martavis this week until his knee issue. With Stevie Johnson also out, I'm left with Julio and Hankerson as my only WR options. Can I really trust two WRs from the same team? Even if it is against the Redskins? Standard scoring no PPR Roster (starters in bold): QB: Flacco, Stafford WR: Julio, Hankerson, Stevie Johnson, Davante Adams, Martavis Bryant RB: Latavius Murray, Woodhead, CJ Anderson (FLEX), Ivory, Spiller TE: Bennett Best options I see on the wire are Randle, Aiken, Wheaton, Marvin Jones, or Cole Beasley. I'm leaning towards Randle or Aiken right now. Most likely dropping Hankerson or Stevie Johnson. Who do you prefer at WR? Any other changes you'd make to my starting lineup? Thanks

  5. Another week, another set of waiver wire decisions to make. 12 team league, no PPR, standard scoring with 6 pt TDs for everything including passing. Current starters in bold. QBs: Stafford, Flacco RBs: L. Murray, Woodhead, Anderson(FLEX), Ivory(BYE), Spiller WRs: Julio, Martavis Bryant, Stevie Johnson, Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery TE: Bennett At QB is Flacco worth keeping this week against CLE? They've given up plenty of points to QBs not named Rivers, who torched them this week. However with Steve Smith potentially out or at the very least limited after the rib injury I'm wondering if he can be counted on. He looked horrendous at PIT. My other options on the wire are Cutler, Smith and Bortles. Cutler and Smith are the two I'm looking at right now. KC's secondary seems a little beat up and Cutler should at least get some garbage time if they fall behind. On the other hand, Smith has put up solid production in 3 of 4 games this year and I could use a QB that can at least get me 15-20 with the last two weeks yielding me less than 10 at the position. My biggest concern with Smith is that they get a lead and run the ball the rest of the game leaving Smith with very little to do. Do I stick with Flacco or stream someone else this week? Not much on the wire at the RB position as usual. Duke Johnson is the only guy of note, but I doubt I would start him over anyone on my roster right now. Especially with a matchup against Baltimore upcoming. I do notice Joique Bell on the list. Would he be worth a stash at this point or is that backfield too clouded to make him worthy of a roster spot? WRs of note are Hurns, Hankerson, Randle, Snead, Aiken. Seems like I should stake a claim for at least one of these guys and drop Montgomery right now. Which of the above guys do I grab?
  6. Hill wasn't my problem this week. Left him and Forte in. My problem was sitting Ivory at the flex for Jame Jones...I can't wait until London games are a regular thing
  7. Have Brown in one league and while last night wasn't encouraging, I'm definitely holding him. Conservative play calling in a close game with Vick making his first start in awhile was to be expected. If the Steelers get down in games they will be forced to throw and Brown is still good enough to get open. Vick will find him, not nearly as often, but he will.
  8. Horrific. Two weeks in a row streaming QBs and 2 weeks I score under 10 points. So much for the "porous" steelers defense
  9. I'm an Anderson owner so I'm a little biased, but I like him over Miller. In the end I always pick the better offense. The Broncos games I've watched the problem hasn't been Anderson. The problem has been their offensive line giving the RBs no help. Even when Hillman is in the game he doesn't look any better. You could make a case for either, but I would go with Anderson based on a better offense giving him higher upside.
  10. I don't think the value is bad I do think you're going to pull your hair out wondering whether Hill or Anderson is the right guy to use if/when you need them. However, with all the depth you have at least one of those guys has to turn it around and when they do you can ride them to the playoffs or trade them for a stud. I'd make the trade.
  11. I think I'd go Gordon here also. Ellington is back, but they say Johnson has earned himself a role. Cleveland is giving up points to RBs so far and I'd expect Gordon to feast.
  12. 8 team league standard scoring with 6 point passing TDs and bonuses every 100 yards over 300. Team: QB: Stafford, Rivers RB: Hill, Forte, Ivory, Abdullah, Foster, Duke Johnson WR: Brown, Fitz, Cooks, Landry TE: Olsen, Gates I don't like Stafford or Rivers matchups this week. With this being an 8 team league there are plenty of options available. Here are a few I think are the best bets this week. Taylor Carr Flacco Fitzpatrick Smith Winston Who would you pick up and who would you drop? Leaning towards picking up Taylor since he's playing at home and I think Carr will be giving Murray the ball a lot vs. Chicago. Can't decide who to drop though. The Lions have been awful, but can I really cut Stafford? Rivers will have his days. I'm debating rolling with 3 QBs for just this week and dropping either Duke Johnson or Gates.
  13. I was offered Matt Ryan for CJ 1 for 1. Probably should have taken it, but I don't want to cripple RB depth this early in the season with bye weeks still ahead.
  14. I'm giving him a go over Stafford this week. The Lions haven't been able to throw well and playing in Seattle doesn't really seem like the best of matchups.
  15. Agreed. Been leaning towards not pulling the trigger. Having to make a move this soon is just too much. That's what happens when your WR2 hasn't performed how you expect.
  16. The Ryan owner sent me a new trade offer. He's willing to give my Ryan for Anderson or Ivory straight up. I'm tempted to do this with the way Anderson has been playing and the concerns around Ivory's usage with him being banged up already. Would anyone pull the trigger on this new deal?
  17. I grabbed Flacco as a fill in for this week. Wire is pretty thin with guys like Winston, Fitzpatrick, Bortles, Mallett, Cousins, Foles, Weeden and Smith being some of the best available.
  18. I would definitely get Anderson. I've got him in a league and while he's been frustrating I still think he can turn it around. Unfortunately with these 8 team leagues you've got a lot of guys that are tough to drop. I think out of everyone I'd be more likely to drop Moncrief than anyone. In the end it would be a toss up between Miller and Moncrief for me. When Coleman comes back Freeman may not be as relevant and could be potentially be dropped, but that isn't happening yet and Freeman is on a tear right now. If you really want to grab Anderson and not have to drop anyone you could try swinging a 2 for 1 trade where you give a way 2 guys and get an upgrade at another position. You'd then have an open slot to grab Anderson, but that is easier said than done.
  19. I just got Flacco to fill in for Stafford this week myself. I don't know that I'd drop Stafford, but it depends on your league size. Big Ben is definitely someone I'd want to target, but it would depend if you could afford to stash him for the next 4-6 weeks.
  20. I'd go out and get Marvin Jones; dropping Floyd. Jones has been getting plenty of looks and is slowly emerging as the 2nd receiving option in that offense. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/446453-trade-advice-ryan-plus-wr-for-latavius-murray/
  21. It would be tough. You'll need to find an owner that has had a rough time at the QB position and has depth at the positions you'd want. If I was making the move I'd be trying to swing Brady plus a RB to get a QB, RB and WR. Going to be a tough move though.
  22. 12 team standard scoring with 6 pt passing TDs, non-PPR My Team: QB: Stafford, Flacco RB: Anderson, Latavius Murray, Ivory, Woodhead, Spiller WR: Julio, Davante Adams, Stevie Johnson, Ty Montgomery, Martavis Bryant TE: Bennett Their Team: QB: Ryan, Palmer RB: Charles, Yeldon, Matt Jones, Taliaferro WR: ODB, Evans, Edelman, Benjamin, Agholor TE: Rudolph, Reed The trade being offered is Matt Ryan and either Evans or Edelman for my Latavius Murray. I would like to trade for an upgrade at the QB spot, but feel that losing Murray will diminish my RB depth to the point where I'm hurting on a weekly basis. I think a better trade would be something that gives me a QB1 and an RB2/3 for Murray, but I don't think this owner has the pieces to make that happen. Would you go through with this trade or would you seek out a trade with another team that meets the needs better?
  23. 12 team standard scoring non-PPR. I have the #1 waiver priority and need some help. Team: QB: Stafford, Foles RBs: Anderson, Latavius Murray, Ivory, Woodhead, Spiller, Duke Johnson WRs: Julio Jones, Davante Adams, Stevie Johnson, Martavis Bryant TE: Bennett I'm thinking I need to make a few moves, but the waiver wire is very thin. MI could use a stand-in QB this week as well as a WR and RB to stash or plug in. I have the following available at each position: I would plan on dropping Foles and Duke Johnson at the very least. QB: Flacco, Winston, Smith, Cousins, Bortles, Fitzpatrick (I'm thinking I could snag any of these as my 2nd waiver choice) RB: Powell, Dunbar, Rawls(I know an owner is putting a claim in for Rawls), Antonio Andrews(BYE) WR: Randle, Roddy White, Hankerson, Ginn Jr., Montgomery I'm leaning towards the following: 1st priority. Add Montgomery; drop Foles 2nd priority: Add Flacco; drop Duke Johnson One caveat being that the Tannehill owner has only 1 QB. I'm wondering if Flacco should be pushed up to #1 to ensure the QB add or if Montgomery is really the guy I want in that first claim position.
  24. Karlos Williams definitely. I also think Montgomery has potential depending on the seriousness of the Adams ankle injury. Out of the 3 guys you listed for drop candidates Terrance Williams would top my list, but I wouldn't drop him for Montgomery.
