  2. Giants Fans Should Be Ashamed...

I can't believe those sons-a-biatches Arizona Diamondbacks didn't just lay down and let the Yankees win the World Series after 9/11. They should be ashamed to call themselves Americans. For those of you that say the Giants should have let the Saints win, you are morons. The Saints got their arses handed to them last night 27-10. I don't think if they were playing anywhere else it would have really mattered. God be with all of those who have suffered through this tragedy, but I'm sorry to say that the Giants are a better team than the Saints.

  6. 2005 NFL Survivor Challenge: Week 1

Haven't you guys learned anything from the past few years? The obvious pick always loses in week 1! Every year about half of the contestants are weeded out after the huge upset.

  9. NFL Opening Day--Sept 11

I remember seeing that back when it first came out. It choked me up just as much today as it did back then. I've lived in AZ most of my life, but I was born in NJ and lived just 15 minutes from Manhattan. All of my relatives lived there and I always went back to visit them a few times a year with my parents after we moved. I remember as a kid I was always in awe of New York City....especially the Twin Towers. I had been to the top of them many times growing up. Even now, I am always excited to go into the city when I go back to visit. I remember the first trip I had back after 9/11 was in April 2002. Going back and forth so much as a child, I never had a problem flying. It was the first flight I'd been on since the attacks and I was very nervous. The one moment I will always remember from that flight was as we were making our final approach into Newark Airport. As you are coming in for the landing, you have a perfect view of the NY skyline. As we were appoaching, all of my childhood memories of the city were running through my head as I began to see the city. Then, as the area where the World Trade Center once stood began to come into view, my jaw just dropped. I guess the reality of what happened set in at that very moment. My heart just dropped and the tears began to flow. A huge chunk of my childhood dreams was gone forever. I realized just how much I loved NYC and will always love it. It is and always will be the greatest city in the world.
  10. If Price lands in Indy.....

If he lands in a Japanese league, I'd definitely pick him up. He'd tower over those slant eyed rice eaters!!!

  12. Plaxico Burress

You must take into account the systems they were in. Pittsburgh was a run first team. Ever since Kerry Collins became the Giants QB, they have become more of a pass first team. Now with Eli, I don't see that changing much. So, Burress will see a lot more balls with the G-men than he did with the Steelers. 1100yds 8TD isn't to much of a reach.
  13. Favorite Sci-Fi Movie

A lot of Alien and Predator votes. I thought Alien vs. Predator was great. Another one I don't think has been mentioned is The Abyss. Great flick.
  14. David's on Internet Radio Today

Reminds me a bit of the Koren Robinson/William Green craze that swept The Huddle. I think I'll pass on this one!
