  1. Who else is 0-2?

In my main league with my buddies, I'm 0-2, and going crazy. I left Caddy on the bench for the first two games, so that explains part of my problem. Here's my lineup for that league: QB P. Manning RB McGahee RB DD WR Horn WR S. Smith TE McMichael K Akers D Patriots Bench Caddy Bench D. Foster Bench C. Benson Bench P. Burress Bench Morency Bench Heap Whats your 0-2 team look like?
  2. "Advice" and "Advise"

Yes, this is petty, and stupid, but "adviSe" and "adviCe" are different. You can't look for advise on the fantasy board. You can look for advice, but you can't look for advise. However, you can advise someone, but you can't advice someone. Some of these kids running around here need to pay more attention in their junior high classes. Don't mean to rant, but seriously, look at what you're writing once in awhile. It's driving me nuts. Perhaps I'm just bitter after falling to 0-2 in my main league. For those confused: Advice: 1 : recommendation regarding a decision or course of conduct : COUNSEL <he shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties -- U.S. Constitution> 2 : information or notice given -- usually used in plural 3 : an official notice concerning a business transaction Advise: 1 a : to give advice to : COUNSEL <advise her to try a drier climate> b : CAUTION, WARN <advise them of the consequences> c : RECOMMEND <advise prudence> 2 : to give information or notice to : INFORM <advise them of their rights> intransitive senses 1 : to give advice <advise on legal matters> 2 : to take counsel : CONSULT - ad·vis·er also ad·vi·sor /-'vI-z&r/ noun Have a nice day!
  3. "Advice" and "Advise"

Busted without a doubt on that one!
  4. "Advice" and "Advise"

:doah: I'm an idiot. The advice/advise thing just bothers me for some reason. When I saw this topic, "FF advise but nodody gives me advise", I felt a calling to help those in need.
  5. Palmer for Gonzo?

    For CJ? In a heartbeat!
  6. Who else is 0-2?

Hopefully I won't be starting the "Who is 0-3?" thread on Tuesday.
  7. J. Horns fumble/touchback

I needed that TD in the worst way.
  8. WDIS

    I'd go Lloyd
  9. WDIS

    Branch no doubt
  10. Dallas or Buffalo

    Dallas
  11. WDIS: Defending Champ last year

I'd put in Booker in place of Moose.
  12. Hasselback or PLummer

Even though he was terrible last week, I'd go Plummer.
  13. QB help plsss

    Delhomme
  14. Take your pick/s

    1. LJ - he did awesome last week. 2. Williams 3. Clark - no doubt 4. Pollard - he scored last week for you 5. Baltimore 6. I'd be tempted to start Frerotte over the other two. He looked decent last week, and the other two are going up against tough Ds. However, I probably wouldn't have the balls to go with him and would go with Bledsoe.
  15. wdis at rb , parker or alexander

It takes some serious balls to sit Alexander. I couldn't do it.
  16. WDIS - For my # 3

    Lloyd
  17. Bulger or Lefty

    Bulger
  18. parker, alexander, ahman green

So what were the answers to my questions again???
  19. parker, alexander, ahman green

I agree with Grits that GB will run the ball more. They kind of have to. When a #1 WR goes down, doesn't it make sense that more Ds will focus on the run than their previous #2 and #3 WRs? Seems to make sense. Yes, Green will run the ball more, but Ds will be even more focused on him now than they were before Javon went down. I just don't see Ahman becoming a scoring machine now that Javon is hurt. And how does the play of the O-line factor into it all? Can't be good if you ask me.
