  1. 10 team PPR league with lots of scoring - bonus points for completions, 40, and 50 yard TD's and return yard points.

Everyone keeps 3 players with no round penalty.

I got Mahomes, Zeke, Julio, Tyreek, Chubb and Kerryon.  I pick 8th in a snake draft.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

  2. I would keep DJ and OBJ only, and go with best available after that.  From the list of notables, the 4th pick is better than Diggs or McKinnon IMO, and one of them could easily come back to you in the 4th round especially with that Team 3 dude in the mix.

My playoff weekend started with Kamara leaving the game early with a concussion. He's been one of the driving forces in my playoff push. I consoled myself knowing that this particular league uses the total of two weeks for each playoff round and hopefully I'd have Kamara back next weekend. Turns out it may not matter after all. With Wilson, Bell, Hopkins, Thielen, Engram and Duke Johnson at flex (because Amari Cooper is a bust) I still went for 150+ and  that even with a -6 from Baltimore's D my opponent only managed 102.

Check this out - First Gronk and JuJu get suspended for my first round of the playoffs.  No worries, I got Jimmy Graham on my bench to slot in for Gronk.  Of course Graham gets me a goose egg.  Then Kamara goes down on the first drive after a hot start.  As soon as Cooks catches one ball tonight, I am toast.

  4. If it had just been the Snead for Murray trade, I would not have said anything, but the other two made me do a double take.  The thing is, even though the guy off loading is not going to make the playoffs, it's a keeper league, so he loses at least 2 players that anyone with any sense would keep for next season and gets nothing in return.  I am just out.  All my players are on the bench from here on out, and they will not get a dime out of me.  I have 3 other leagues without that kind of nonsense.

  5. I am in several leagues.  In one of them, a team out of the running is off loading star players for nothing.  Lev Bell for Riddick, Fournette for Damien Williams, and D. Murray for Willie Snead.  The first two to the same team, the third to the league commissioner.  This is a keeper league, BTW.  Me and another guy (he is in first place) are threatening to drop out if the trades go through.  As luck would have it, me and the other guy complaining are against each other this week, and we have both put all our players on the bench, so nobody will win.  The commissioner's response is vote against it if you don't like it (two votes will not kill the trades), but don't complain.  I have not put up any cash at this point.  Am I out of line, or are these trades just beyond fair.?

I would say to keep Michael Thomas. He's 23 and reports out of camp are he's making separation and catches against anyone he lines up across. He's a great value and a WR1 in PPR.

Follow up question. In the round you drafted the player last year is that the round you keep them this year. That also makes a difference. Im guessing Thomas was a late round draft choice which makes his value even more so.

Actually, I picked him up off the waiver wire pre season

  7. I need to deiced on who to start at RB2 and at flex for the 1st round of the playoffs. I have DeMarrco Murray at RB1 and a choice of:

    Jermey Hill @ Browns

    Latavius Murray @ Chiefs

    Mark Ingram @ Bucs

    Jordan Howard @ Lions

If you need two as the post title suggests, I would go with Hill (if healthy) and Ingram or Murray. It's going to be cold in KC on Thursday night fwiw.

  8. Although I'm a Hill owner, I'd go Ware and Thomas. OAK is vulnerable to the run. Maclin is back and it's a Thursday night game, which means less scoring most likely. And I love Thomas' matchup at TB.

Yeah, that's my dilemma. I like Thomas against TB, and he's been consistent. I wasn't sure about Maclin coming back, but that could make the difference for me there.

    Thanks.

  9. Need two for WR2 and Flex, PPR:

    T. Hill v. Oak

    M. Thomas v. TB

    D. Adams v. Sea

    Rishard Matthews v. Den

    S. Ware v. Oak

    QB:

    Stafford v. Chi

    Carr v. KC

Have D. Johnson, M. Gordon, Amari Cooper, and D. Walker already penciled in. Leaning M. Thomas and T. Hill, but keep going round and round with it. Leaning Carr at QB, but Stafford was awfully strong last week.

    Thanks.
