  3. Point scoring will follow a traditional point scoring system, rather than a category roto. (Think fantasy football, EXAMPLE: HR’s are worth 6 points: 1 for a hit, 1 for a run, 1 for an RBI, and 3 for each base touch not including 1st base). League Structure: CBS Sports or Fantrax Buy in $205 ($5 x 24 for CBS site fee = $120) (Free if on fantrax) 24 Teams, 12 AL and 12 NL. 2 Divisions per league (6 teams each) Triple header matchups 1 player pool for all 24 teams. Rosters will max at 45 and the minimum will be 35. Minor league players will be available for drafting in the first-year draft, as well as current MLB players. Lineups will be submitted weekly. I understand that some players may get hurt mid-week, this is like losing a football player in the 1st half, sucks but is part of the fantasy life. There is currently no pitcher start restrictions, however, we can put it to a vote. There will not be a free agent wire so plan your draft accordingly. Free agents will be available in the draft following each season. Draft rules will be addressed below. Breakdown of roster: Starters: C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, UTL, UTL 8 Pitchers (can be a combo of relief and starters) Total of 18 starting players each week. Bench/Reserves: 17-27 players. Draft: The opening year draft will be 40 rounds. Draft order will be a random drawing, video recorded, and posted to youtube for authenticity. All players are available in this draft. Following the opening year draft, only rookie players and league free agents will be available. There is not a “supplemental” draft, as both rookies and current league free agents will be allowed to be selected during each draft following the inaugural. Each draft following the opening draft will consist of 13 rounds. Rounds 1-12 will be rookies and free agents. Round 13 will be a “Rule 5” selection. Rule 5 selections will allow opposing teams to select one MINOR LEAGUE player who is not currently playing in the MLB yet from another team’s roster. The selected player MUST be a reserve player. If you are an owner and would like to keep a Minor League player, simply place them in your starting lineup after the season is over and they cannot be selected. MLB players are ineligible for Rule 5 selection. If a team cannot use their Rule 5 due to lack of quality players, or simply does not want to select a player off another roster, this pick can be used on Rookies and free agents like picks 1-12. Draft order will be determined by overall record, followed by the team with the fewest amount of points. Essentially, tanking is allowed for the number 1 pick. Picks can be traded throughout the year. Payouts and Playoffs: 6 teams from the AL and NL will qualify for the playoffs. Two division winners, two division runner ups and 2 wild card winners. Wild cards will be decided by Overall Record, followed by League Record, followed by Points For. Division winners will be decided by Overall Record, then Division Record, followed by Points For. Wild card teams will play each other the first week of the playoffs. The number one overall team from the NL will play the wild card winner, same for the AL. The other two division winners will face each other. Once a league champion has been crowned for each league, they will face for the World Series. Payouts are as follows: $5 x 24 = $120 for site fee (or free if on fantrax) 24 teams x $200 = $4800 Wild Card Qualification: $100 x 4 = $400 $4400 remaining Division Runner Up: $200 x 4 = $800 $3600 remaining Division Winners: $300 x 4 = $1200 $2400 remaining League Winners: $400 x 2 = $800 $1600 remaining World Series: Winner: $1000 Loser: $600 POINT LAYOUT: Hitters: 1 point for hits 2 points for doubles 5 points for triples (795 triples in 2017 in the MLB) 4 points for HR (6,100 home runs in 2017, this is why triples are 5.) 2 point for BB -1 point for CS 2 points for SB 15 points for Cycle 1 point for HBP -1 points for K’s 1 point for Runs 1 point per RBI 3 point Bonus for 2 HR’s 5 point Bonus for 3 HR’s 7 point Bonus for 4 HR’s Pitchers: 3 points per inning -0.5 per walk -1 point for ER 7 points for CG 5 points for quality start -1 point for hits allowed 1 point for K’s 5 points for W 1 point for Pick Offs 10 points for No hitter 10 points for PG -3 for Loss 7 points for Shut out 8 points for Save 5 points for Hold -3 for Blown Save Let me know if interested
  4. This is an example of one of our videos from our similar 50 team NFL NCAA league.
  5. Not your typical NBA Fantasy league. This is NCAA THEMED. Lineups will be weekly, not daily, this eliminates the grind. Yes some guys will get hurt on monday and you will will not be able to take him out of your lineup and he will not accumulate anymore points for the week, comparing it to football this is like your player getting hurt in the first quarter, it sucks but it happens. This isn't a category league, players accumulate points like they do in fantasy football. League will be on Fantrax, group me will be used for communication. 1 pt per point 2 pt per assist 2 pt per rebound 3 pt per steal 3 pt per block 10 pt per double double 20 pt per triple double 1 pt per 3pt fgm -0.5 pt per missed ft 2 pt per turnover -2 pt per technical foul -1 pt per ejection -3 pt per flagrant foul 30 Round draft, 15 starters 15 bench 2 PG 2 SG 1 G 2 SF 2 PF 1 F 2 C 3 FLEX There will also be no waiver wires throughout the season. There will be a 3 round rookie draft, and a 4 round supplemental draft following that. Supplemental drafts will have Free agents as well as rookies not drafted in the previous 3 rounds. Draft picks will be trade-able. Trading picks 2 years+ in the future will require you to pay those league fees upfront. This protects our league. 8 Conferences 80 Teams (ACC, B10, B12, P12, SEC, Big East, AAC, MWC,) These will be 8 separate leagues. They will all have their own draft and unique player pool. You CANNOT trade with other conferences. During conference play you will not play players from your own team, during non-conference play this is very possible. You play 3 teams every period for the first 12 periods of the season. The first 5 periods will be non conference play. These are 15 games where you can pick your opponents from other conferences. Every game matters because it will impact your ranking and ultimately your seeding. The final 7 periods will be conference play. You will play your Conference 21 times for a total of 36 games. The regular season will end Period 12. a Period is a duration (usually 7 days) in which you will play your opponent(s). If the league started this year the Regular season would end Sunday January 19. a 3 round Conference tournament will then occur in every conference. 1v8 4v5 3v6 2v7 This will take take place from Jan 20 to February 9th. (3weeks) Winner will automatic qualify for NCAA tournament and win $150 each. There will be a ranking committee consisting of 12 members, at least 1 from every conference. They will be responsible for submitting their Top 25 ranking each week. They will also be responsible for seeding the tournament. Their picks will be averaged out and that will be the result for the rankings. Rankings will matter, ranked games will be highlighted and important. Stats, articles, polls, and videos will be frequent. Rankings will be NCAA based and the league is to replicated the fun and excitement of March Madness and college basketball in a NBA fantasy league setting. The 64 team tournament will take place from Feburary 10th to March 29th. NIT The 16 that didn't make it will battle for a #11 pick. This is a bonus pick that will be awarded only to the winner.
