  1. Good Luck Rovers! I bought one at a mall and was initially pleased. It still works fine I just havent gotten the motivation to switch over completely. Quitting is a real bitch!! I admire anyone who is as honest about their addiction as you and wins the battle.

  2. This isnt a PPR league, although I wish it were and Crabby was taken with the 2nd pick. I took BROWN. My WRs are in good shape in my opinion, Welker Marshal Colston as starters and Cotchery Hester Branch Driver Hixon Rice and Morgan as back ups, Now if I can nab my targeted second rounder I will cal it a successful draft.

  3. OK Im up for my first round rookie pick. I want to go RB, Wells and Moreno are gone. I am struggling between Brown and Greene. I like Greene's long term value better but Brown could have immediate impact and seems to have more talent.

I have Portis and Parker as starters and K Smith along with numerous backups. What do you guys think? Who would you go with?

The above link is to a my space page for the band "Angels Lacking Halos" this is my youngest son's band. He has visions of grandeur for this. Please check it out and give me some feedback. No this is NOT spam. I am generally interested in what people here think. I know this isn't for everyone, and the thing that comes to mind for me is the "cookie monster on PCP" comments Ive read here before. I like the music for the most part but the vocals just rub me the wrong way.

They recorded this in early Nov in Des Moines. I really wished his aspirations were in a different direction but as a parent I still want to support him as much as I can.

  5. I am very pleased to report that in this horrible economy I was lucky enough to land a new job, better than excellent pay, at least for this part of the country, but equally poor benefits. My wife has OK insurance so that part is moot, and my youngest is 1 semester from graduation so I am fortunate not to have little ones to support.

I was laid off Thurs the 30th of October, yeah I know I said the 28th in an earlier post, but when your unemployed the days all run together. Bottom line is I feel very very fortunate for this opportunity.
