  1. Garrett done

It's pretty easy to make yourself "America's team" when networks and media flood the market with your product. They've been doing it since the 70's. It's no surprise they have such a wide spread fanbase. I applaud the fact that they've marketed so well, but that hardly makes them "America's team."
  2. Seahawks vs Eagles

And one of the pubs we went to and sampled some of the selection:
  3. Seahawks vs Eagles

I went to Scotland the summer before last and went to a tasting. Oh my that was some fine tasting stuff. Here's a pic of some of their selection.
  4. Vikings vs Saints

Lol, you need new friends then anyway. Only thing I ever do is snooze folks for posting too much political crap.
  5. Vikings vs Saints

Seattle fans are the epitome of class and respect.
  6. Vikings vs Saints

Saints had no answer for the Vikings pass rush for the better part of the game. That and a very bad decision by Brees trying to toss it deep. Yes, that was OPI at the end of the game, but that rarely ever gets called and I didn't expect it to be overturned.
  7. NFL Hall of Fame class of 2020 finalists

I think waiting 15 years should give someone the edge over one DPoY.
  8. NFL Hall of Fame class of 2020 finalists

I'd vote Atwater before Polamalu based on the amount of time he's had to wait.
  9. Sea vs sf ... No PI at end of game?!

That was the stupid penalty I was referring to. 😉
  10. Sea vs sf ... No PI at end of game?!

Nobody said San Francisco didn't earn the right to win or get first seed. They were clearly the best team in the NFC this year IMO. In that game specifically, Seattle never should have been that close. San Francisco sure felt like the better team throughout the game and ultimately Seattle blew their chance with a stupid penalty, some very poor throws at the goal line from Wilson and an inch short effort. Oh yeah, and let's not forget that idiotic call Carroll made on 4th and 1 trying to invoke Beast mode into the teeth of the expecting San Fran defense. But that's not the point. The point is there was, yet another, horribly blown call in a very important game at a crucial time with great repercussions and it cost a team another opportunity that they should have been afforded. And to make it worse, NFL officiating, as they've done all season, blows it off and tries playing their Jedi mind (the really bad word) on their fans. This had nothing to do with whether or not San Francisco should or should not have won, so unbunch your panties and enjoy your easy route to the NFC championship. Hopefully the Saints will be there to meet you.
  11. Sea vs sf ... No PI at end of game?!

Riveron says it was reviewed and determined no pass interference. It's getting more and more difficult to watch this game. In the past 10 years I've gone from watching every single game that I'm able to watching just Saints games and maybe part of one or two others to now watching most Saints games and not giving two manures about watching any others. If this season ends like the last it could be the straw that finally breaks my back.
  12. Darren Waller...sleeper

To be fair, he's been pretty good all year long.
  13. Brees is garbage on grass...

I'm talking relative to players that aren't QB's, so not really.
  14. Merry Christmas fellow Huddlers!

    Merry Christmas one and all!
  15. Brees is garbage on grass...

He should be a stronger MVP candidate, but he plays for the Saints.
  16. Andrews, Mark BAL TE

If Jacobs would have played I probably would have sat Andrews in favor of Waller. Jacobs not playing may have actually done me a favor.
  17. SEA has lost their top 3 rbs?

It's going to be tough sledding against the 49ers anyway.
  18. Josh Jacobs Ruled Out for Week 16

It used to be the norm and pretty much expected that news was posted here before it could hit the main page.
  19. Dynasty ... PERRIMAN, BRESHAD TBB WR

Kinda agree with LC. Winston can't even keep both those kids fed. I just don't see how there will be enough to go around to make Perriman relevant. I had picked him up at the beginning of the season in my dynasty league and ultimately dropped him. Until something happens with one of the other two I think I'll wait.
  20. Colts vs Saints (MNF)

Overall numbers, I completely agree. If you're talking anywhere from the early 80s prior, there's no way these guys put up the numbers that they do now. I'd even wager at least one of them would have their career shortened from injury. Those other players, for the most part, just didn't have the level of skill and athleticism that players do now. How many receivers do you think could have run a sub 5.0 in the 40? Now they can hardly make a team if they can't. But that doesn't mean that Brady et al still wouldn't dominate in those time frames.
  21. Colts vs Saints (MNF)

How many bad weather games does Brady actually play in during a season? You say that like it happens every week during the months of November and December. And Brees, as evidenced by the PFF article I just gave you, is very nearly just as good outdoors as he is indoors. In fact, he's actually been statistically better outdoors in some very important factors than the players he's compared with. Did you read this part? Useless... Ok
  22. Colts vs Saints (MNF)

Guys like Brady, Manning, Rodgers and Brees would be all-time greats in any era of football. I don't think you could say the same about many players from the past.

  24. Vaughn Johnson - RIP

Member of the best LB corp of all time, the Saints Dome Patrol, one of the most feared hitters ever to play the game, Vaughn Johnson, has passed away. He was always one of my favorite players and very underrated playing alongside Jackson, Swilling and Mills.
