  1. We don't get a FLEX, but we can do 1-3 RBs or WRs (our choice: 1-3, 2-2, 3-1). Can't trade for draft picks or I would. My team won last year, so we get pick 12 in the draft. Not sure who to keep this year: Peyton Manning (QB/Den) Montee Ball (RB/Den) Chris Ivory (RB/NYJ) Marshawn Lynch (RB/Sea) DeMarco Murray (RB/Dal) Ray Rice (RB/Bal) Tavon Austin (WR/StL) Riley Cooper (WR/Phi) Michael Crabtree (WR/SF) Demaryius Thomas (WR/Den) Roddy White (WR/Atl) Jimmy Graham (TE/NO) Matt Prater (K/Den) Seattle D (D/Sea) Scoring is standard PPR with small twists (in Bold): Passing 4pts./TD, 1pt/25 yds, -2pts. /int, 2pts. /2-pt conversion, 1pt per 30-yds on a passing td Rushing: 1pt/10yds; 6pts/TD; 2pts/2-pt conversion; 1pt/20yds on a long rushing TD Receiving: 1PPR; 1pt./10yds.; 6pts/TD; 2pts/2-pt conversion; 1pt/20yds on a long rec TD K, D/ST, are standard, 6 points per TD, 2 pts. for turnovers, 1 pt. per sack, standard yardage for kickers, which I don't plan on keeping. I've got my thoughts, but I want to hear from you pros. This is a keeper league, and with Peyton aging (and in a PPR league) he's questionable. On the other hand, with Peyton aging, his teammates are just as questionable over the long haul! What do you think?
  2. Struggling on my keeper. I'm taking over for an old owner and my only decent options are Demarco Murray (giving up my 3rd rounder), and Julian Edleman (giving up my 12th rounder). I'm not keen on Edleman, but to give up a 12th round pick for a receiver who's generally going in the 6th round seems like a wise choice. He is the so-called #1 target for Brady, but I think we all know that there's no consistency with NE receivers. I believe I can get a decent replacement for Murray in the 3rd round. I also choose first and McCoy, Charles and Petterson will be available. So, i will already have one stud running back and can platoon the 2nd RB Thoughts? Starters: 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1DST 1K I hate the reserve restrictions in this particular league, but we MUST select: 2 QB 3 RB 4 WR 2 TE 2 DST 2 K and 2 more from any position
  3. Die-nasty salary cap league 10 team (.5ppr) In this league we run a 3 round rookie draft every year (non-snake) Start: QB, 2 RB, 1 WR, 1 WR-TE, 1 RB-WR-TE(Flex), D, K I have needs at both WR and RB but I do have Forte and Jennings for RB's (my depth is basically nothing Stewart). @ WR I have AJ (hou) and T.Smith, (lost Gordon for majority or all of the year at WR) I have some filler scrubs on the bench but I believe I could do better off waivers or auction although its slim pickens as we have a deep bench and rookie practice squad for three players this depletes a lot of the upcoming talent. Am I looking at Sankey (out of the gate starter) or Hyde (risky until he really takes over in SFO) or am I looking at Cooks, Watkins or Williams first overall. I've seen many places that Watkins, Cooks or Williams in Dynasty could be huge. I do have some cap space to grab like Martin, FJax, Ridley or those lower tiered starting RB's (I like Martin even with the share potential and injury concern). So do I really pass on Sankey if so deal with Watkins and his situation in Buffalo or go Cooks with a better situation but still Brees throwing mainly deep passes to him utilizing Graham, Thomas and Colston probably a ton more? I'm ok taking a risk on a WR that may not completely pan out this season but am I dumb not to take a RB that will get the ball and can play all 3 downs day one? Thanks in advance.
  4. I have someone offering to trade Spiller for B. Marshall? Initial reaction? Now my league, 10 team dynasty, PPR (0.4 per catch) RB's are thin because of bench spots (9) and (2) IR positions.. I have a wreck @ RB A. brown (NYG) McFadden R. Bush A. Ellington BJGE McGahee M.Reese WR Marshall J.Gordon Bowe A.Johnson Shorts Amendola I have to admit I'm scrambling because of injuries so initially I said 'why not' but I'm not that high on Spiller... I have a flex position that I play a WR (RB, RB, WR, WR, FLEX, no TE) but I barely have one solid RB starter Mcfadden has been serviceable thus far but could be injured anytime. The other buy low trade could be trade away someone for maybe D.Wilson (NYG is a wreck at RB but I wouldn't give up Marshall to get him and I have Andre Brown.) let me know thanks.
  5. I'm in a 10 team ppr dynasty with needs at RB I have Mcfadden, Bush, BJG law firm, A Brown I'm good at WR but a lot of my solid play comes from B.Marshall I have amendola, A. Johnson, Bowe, J,Gordon, Shorts. I have someone offering De'Marco Murray for Marshall straight up I also have someone giving MJD for Amendola and Bush Are either worthwhile trades.. I have a hard time with the B.Marshall Murray trade, and less of a hard time with the MJD trade. I don't have to do either trade the auction will have Ivory, S.Jackson, L. Millar, Pead, Vereen, out for auction.. I can see RB's being a hot commodity so the values may be quite high for Miller and Jackson.. MJD could be at the same value. I could get back another WR but it would be probably trash Tony G., G. Tate, Hartline... I have all those type of players.. Any help or insight would be appreciated, thanks!!! BTW We start 2 RB's, 2 WR's/TE and a RB/TE/WR flex, QB, K, Def It's PPR but .4 per reception, everything else is standard.
  6. Hi, I'm in a 12 team PPR league with standard scoring. I need to pick 3 keepers in this league that starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex. Please leave your advice on which 3 guys would be good keepers keeping in mind there draft position. Any combination of 3 is acceptable. Thanks! Arian Foster (Rd 1) Aaron Rodgers(Rd 1) Jimmy Graham(Rd 2) Percy Harvin (Rd 5) Mike Wallace (Rd 3) Steven Jackson (Rd 4) David Wilson (Rd 15) Danny Amendola (Rd 15)
  7. Hello , Thank you for taking the time to read my question, I have a somewhat long complicated series of questions/scenarios I would greatly appreciate your insight; first let me set up my dynasty league for you. It’s a salary keeper league, 1/2 pt PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Our league is set up with 22.5 Million Salary cap, we have a 4 mil franchise tag and then 6 million mini cap to re sign our players. Player’s value is equal to their average so Matt Ryan averaged 18 pts in our league so he is $1.8 (million). Referring to it as million is somewhat unnecessary so let’s just refer to it as having $22.5 as our cap. As of now my keepers are ( $ ) QB- M. Ryan (1.8) RB - A. Morris (4 (franchise tag)) RB - MJD (.7) WR - Julio Jones (1.3) WR - Demaryius Thomas (1.3) WR - Danny Amendola (.6) WR - Alshon Jeffrey (.3) Total Sal currently is 12.5 Million. Here now are my questions. 1) I also have Dwayne Bowe (.7) so I could keep him over Danny and then I wouldn’t be able to keep Alshon. Now I feel that Danny has the higher ceiling IF healthy and as my WR3 I think the risk is worth it. But I also feel like Bowe could emerge as well, really wonder what your thinking is, and just let’s assume both players play a full season. Also, keeping Jeffrey is a nice added bonus as he could emerge as a nice WR as well. 2) I also have Reggie Bush (1.7) I could keep him and then re sign Matt Ryan (him or Stafford will be the best QB’s avail). In our league if you owned a player you can match the highest bid and keep him, with everyone having QBs already I feel like he wouldn’t go for much in the auction max would be 3 million, last year I paid 2.7 for him. I think the value of Bush in the auction would range in the 4-7 million as more than half the teams need a RB 1 or RB2. Now there is the risk my jerk friends could just bid him up high knowing my strategy, but again I think he would probably still be lower than trying to bid on Reggie or another RB1/2. The way it looks now is that Reggie will be the best RB avail in the auction. SO keeping Reggie as a backup in case MJD isn’t MJD and Alfred Morris was a 1 year wonder is a smart move, there is also risk in Reggie, I am a Dolphins fan so I followed him closely these past 2 years and I think he can be a RB1 with the right team and it would seem DET is definitely the right team for his skillet, but there is the risk of Leshoure stealing TDS… Keep in mind most teams are only keeping 2 WRs some only 1 so the majority of bids will go to the best WRs and RBs avail, we chose which player is up for auction at random, we do a rookie/free agent draft after auction for all the players that weren’t auctioned and the rookies. 3) Trade Reggie Bush for Payton Manning. This is something that is on the table with someone who already has RG3 and Needs a RB1. This would essential just replace Matt Ryan and give me an upgrade at QB for the year, I feel Payton could be the best QB in the NFL this year and probably the best Fantasy QB. I feel very solid with my team already as is, but the scarcity of RBs avail and the weak demand for QBs leads me to think it would be wise to keep Bush and risk spending less in the auction on a QB over a RB3, allowing me to target other players possibly Gronk or Grahm. The Average weekly pts in my league for the playoff teams was 115 pts, as of now my team AVG is slightly under that, so keeping bush as a security for MJD/Bye week replace/trade bait and saving money to pursue other high scoring players such as Gronk or Grahm would be wise. As I type this email I more and more want to go with keeping Bush.
  8. To start with, here's my lineup: QB: Luck RB: Doug Martin RB: Ray Rice WR; Julio Jones WR: Brian Hartline WR: Jordy Nelson TE: Scott Chandler FLEX: C.J. Spiller D/ST: Vikings D/ST Bench: Joe Flacco Bench: T.Y. Hilton Bench: Brandon LaFell Bench: Martellus Bennett Bench: Danny Amendola Bench: Jaquizz Rodgers Bench: Kevin Olgetree Bench: Andre Brown Bench: Pats D/ST Bench: Coby Fleener I'm 7-0-2 (but our league started two weeks late, so all teams have two ties) or undefeated. I'm guaranteed a spot in our playoffs (which start the 15th week and run until the 18th). So, I'm planning for the future, but not just the immediate future. This is also a first year dynasty franchise with a bunch of school buds. So it's important that I win this year's Superbowl, but not that important if it means trading rookies for retiring players to win. With that being said, I want to know your guy's opinion of: Ray Rice and David Thomas (really just Ray Rice) for Reggie Bush and the Chargers D/ST. I want Reggie Bush, but a healthy Reggie Bush. I also have a thing for Ray Rice; I've had him for all my fantasy leagues since he joined the NFL. I think that Reggie has a more favorable match up during the playoffs. Below I've listed my players match ups during the playoffs for your guy's convenience: Ray Rice - Denver Broncos (15), New York Giants (16) and Cincy Bengals (17) Reggie Bush - Jaguars (15), Buffalo Bills (16) and New England Patriots (17) Chargers D/ST - Carolina Panthers (15), New York Jets (16) and Oakland Raiders (17) First I'll clear the D/ST need. I've got the Minnesota D/ST playing the Rams week 15, but after that, they're expendable. I've also got the Patriots playing the Jaguars week 16, which I like, and the Miami Dolphins week 17. I feel rather unsure about the Patriots ability to keep Reggie in check that game and I fear Hartline will burst onto the scene once more. The Chargers on the other hand play a nonexistent Jets offense week 16 and the Oakland Raiders week 17, one of the worst run offenses this year and statistically skewed on the passing game due to their inability to preform on the ground. It's not an immediate need, but it would be nice to have nonetheless. The want to discard Ray Rice stems from this. Ray Rice will most likely be benched week 17 because the Ravens WILL clinch their division despite an off year in my opinion. That means I'll probably only have him against one of the better run defenses and linebacker cores (the guys who cover the running back), the Denver Broncos. That's week 15. Week 16, I've got a very favorable match up, maybe too favorable that they'll start putting in the 2nd string running back, because the New York Giants don't have a stingy defense by any means. Reggie Bush on the other hand is more of a risk, but during playoff season, has a huge roof of potential. The Jaguars actually have a pretty decent defense, but I can't see it being too tough for Reggie to handle. The Bills will prove to be a fantasy highlight for Reggie week 16 and week 17 against a rising Patriots defense will also be a minor setback, but there's more possible worth than Ray Rice right now. Oh, and second stringer defensive match up possibility for Reggie Bush here also, since the Patriots will undoubtedly clinch. It just looks better for Reggie on the basis of match ups. But here's the other stickler. I've got this team till all 16 members quit. This is a dynasty, franchise and next year, I want to do even better (undefeated and no ties due to late drafting). So, will Reggie Bush be fantasy relevant next year after the Dolphins have tried replacing the spot with Lamar Miller this year and Daniel Thomas last year. Seems to me that he is going to be pushed out. It's a young team and year-by-year they'll get better. Reggie is there to stay, but for how long [and only if he can stay healthy]. As I finish writing this, I'm even more towards declining this trade. I'll post it anyways to get an opinion.
  9. I am in a 14 team dynasty league with a salary cap. Salary Cap is 25mil. We draft 21 roster spots. When we draft a player it is for 3 years. After year 2 you have the option of resigning the player for up to 5 years at a 50% raise or actual salary, whichever is higher, or playing out the last year of contract at set salary. Starting 1qb 2rb 2wr 1te 1k 1def We also have the option of starting as third WR or Second TE in palce of a RB Scoring .5 PPR 1pt for 10 yards rushing 1pt for 10 yards recieving 1pt for 25 yards throwing 4pt for touchdown 6pt for defense/special team touchdown. I need 5 keepers out of this roster keeping the salaries in mind Drew Brees 4.82mil BJGE .782 Have the option to renew. J. Stewart .940 He is going into his second year. Heyward-bey .430 year 1 Brandon Marshall 2.755 Have opyion to renew Mark Ingram 2 mil Kevin Smith .555 1 year Malcom Floyd 1.485 Mario Manningham 1.5 Laurant Robinson.520 I have the third pick in the round non snake. I also picked up an extra second round pick at the end of the round. Rookies salary is based on the round we draft. 2mil for the first then dropping .250 each round after. I am thinking on dropping Brees to savew salary and draft a new QB.
