Completed one online draft (GvE), have three local drafts yet to go (two auctions, one serpentine). Then of course there is the Huddle's Masters of the Universe contest but that doesn't require my attention until the night before kickoff.

2 complete. 3 in progress. 2 on Monday.

Believe it or not I am actually thinking I wish it would be over soon. My head is about to explode.

Will never understand the appeal of being in a zillion leagues.  oh well whatever..

It just sort of happens..............

2 of the leagues I am drafting for are freebie "contest" leagues that require no maintenance once the season starts.

Still though, 5 leagues is about all I can handle.

Wait a minute, I forgot about the Huddle contest league. Gotta get in that one. $40 to win $10,000? No brainer.

I have been in my local league since 1992.

I participated in a mock draft here at the Huddle in 1999 that turned into the FOFF league.

I joined the CORE because it is a different format than the other leagues in that it is a full dynasty/auction/salary cap league.

I joined Hannibals last year to play with some of the regulars around here, took over Sky's team.

I joined Late Bloomers last year to play with some of the regulars around here as well ... but it had the added benefit of starting 3 weeks into the season. One more draft ... and the draft is one of the best parts of FF.

I joined Lost Generation this year for the hell of it and probably shouldn't have ... but I liked the format.

I joined Cowboys and Indians this year and probably shouldn't have but it will be my second aution league and I like auction leagues.

There you have it ... each league has it's own unique flavor too ... with differnt roster requirements, rules, scoring ... etc.

One Huddle draft done (good vs evil)...

A league in Dallas that I belong to has its redraft...ummm...draft this Saturday (I'm flying in!)...

And my last league in Austin is Labor Day weekend on that Friday. It has changed from a keeper league (I had McNabb, Alexander, McGahee, and CJ) to trying an auction style for the first time.

I'll be asking for advice on the auction since I've got no clue...yet.

I'm in 3 draft leagues and 1 auction league. The auction and 1 draft are locals that have been around for a few years already and wouldn't give these up for anything. For the other 2 drafts, 1 is the IBL (Inter Board League) and the other is the NVN (No Viagra Needed) league in the HAG league. I joined IBL to compete against other boards and I joined NVN because it sounds like a great concept and I wanted a 3rd money league.

Beautiful thing with my three live and in person drafts this year... One each Saturday for three Saturdays in a row starting last Saturday. Wow, you think I used the word Saturday enough in that sentence?

Indeed it does just sort of happen...

I swore two years ago I was scaling down and then learned about WCOFF, then I saw some nice ol' guy in the Huddle wanting to start a Seattle based Huddle league. And to top it off, an owner in the local league I run has just invited me to his league... how could I say no to that?
