theeohiostate
1 Southern California 2 Texas 3 Tennessee 4 Michigan 5 LSU 6 Ohio State 7 Oklahoma 8 Virginia Tech 9 Miami (Fla.) 10 Florida 11 Iowa 12 Louisville 13 Georgia 14 Florida State 15 Purdue 16 Auburn 17 Texas A&M 18 Boise State 19 California 20 Arizona State 21 Texas Tech 22 Boston College 23 Pittsburgh 24 Fresno State 25 Virginia I like my Bucks ranking, with Texas being ranked so high in the Coaches and AP, an OSU victory sets them up in great position to control their destiny provided they win some games. Perchoutofwater
Texas is ranked about 4 or 5 spots too high, and Texas A&M is ranked about 4 or 5 spots too low. darn that hurt me just typing that.
Ziachild007
Nice to see Tech start the season of ranked #21. Looking at their schedule it would be very possible for them to go into the Texas game with a 6-0 record, but it is gonna be the last 5 games that show what kind of team this really is. This should be the most competitive season in the Big 12 in some years. They'll end up beating the Athena out of each other and only have 1 team make the BCS games this season. Coffeeman
Still waiting to see if our new, no-name D will require Leinart and crew to score 45 points every week to win. But it could happen... BTW, here's another name to watch at WR if you haven't already heard: Patrick Turner. Kid is just sick - another toy for Leinart to play with, when the opposing DC's try to take away Smith and Jarrett, and Bush/White, and Byrd. Oh wait, that's gonna be really hard. Did you guys read what Matt's assignment was when rehabbing his elbow? Study NFL defense schemes and then stand behind Booty/Sanchez at the line and call out plays in the scrimmages, based on what he saw. Coach Pete says he got it right almost every time. And with only one ballroom dancing class (with his girlfriend!) to study for, he'll have plenty of time to 'prioritize' this season. Cool stuff for fans of explosive offenses... And lets not forget the O-line is filled with 300+ lb dudes who can all move mountains. If Matt stays healthy, this machine is unreal. Go #1.. Perchoutofwater
Hey Coffeman, don't forget, they don't play anyone in the the top 15 all year. Number 19 Cal is there toughest opponent. They should easily go undefeated again, or atleast until bowl season.
cheezhed
"hail to the victors..............." You gotta love the Big Blue. Very explosive offense and special teams. Henne and Hart only Sophs Not too mention 7 out of 11 games in THE BIG HOUSE! Edited August 24, 2005 by cheezhed
Deacon Bill
Good to see the Buckeyes gain some respect. And it's nice NOT seeing 9 Florida teams in the top 10 for a change. Meeshagan is rated way too high. And where the heck is Notre Dame? JMO.
