Hugh 0ne
Yepper. These boards really suck right now. Stop being so nice to Carl, it seems the beatings worked better. Link to comment

Stop letting the boards open to non-paying members. The loss of traffic has to improve the ability to get on. Like NSab I cannot get in half the time and it is becomming annoying. Link to comment

Smack them around for us, as it appears that you are not getting what you are paying for. Link to comment
gilthorp
The money would be well spent if you had NSab make a face to face "service" call with them. Link to comment

Grits and Shins
If the server can't handle the load on a Monday holiday it is going to be really bad opening weekend on Sunday morning. No doubt it has been frustrating. Link to comment

Clubfoothead
Earlier today it was horrible. Doing OK for me now. Of particular concer is the fact each time the "glitch" affects me I'm worried I've been banned. Link to comment
georgemoe
I tried for over an hour last night to access any board. I finally gave up and went to FBG's. Seriously though, this is getting irritating. Link to comment

Like NSab I cannot get in half the time and it is becomming annoying. 970138[/snapback] With my IT hat on, I doubt this is a server load issue per se. It seems more like an OS lockup issue to me, in that the server processor is getting pegged to 100% through some internal function or misconfiguration, which means it can't answer access requests. I've had these issues before. Could be wrong...... BTW, it is definitely getting worse. Good luck with sorting it out. Edited September 6, 2005 by Ursa Majoris Link to comment

I've been trying not to complain but it is getting really, really hard to even get into the Huddle boards and I use them much more than the Huddle's other perks. Link to comment
Hugh 0ne
Not to beat a dead horse, but this is a major pain in the hindquarter. I spend 90% of my time at the forums, not at the website, gathering information or spreading my gift that is FF knowledge. You guys run a top notch website. The forums are a HUGH part of that. Please address this sooner rather than later. Link to comment
Grits and Shins
You guys need to get it through your noggins, the forums will ALWAYS be open to the general public. Count how many league pages are hosted by this site. If access to the boards required a paid membership you would effectively require everybody in one of those leagues to become a paying member. As I understand it there would be a significant amount of effort to set up the boards so that there were areas for paying members and non-paying members. Lastly, the boards are a draw. People come to the boards and may be inclined to purchase a membership after puttering around on the boards. Get used to the open boards, it's not changing any times soon. Link to comment
