aaronvh
I think this guy is so overrated. if I owned him... of which there is no way I would draft a rookie RB in the first 6 rounds of a draft, but apparently a lot of people did. I would try and trade him for someone good, because somebody in your league will give up some power for this guy. Anyway here is some news on him of which I would expect to see all year long. RBBC runners do not deserve to be drafted in the first 6 rounds. IMO ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- J.J. Arrington - RB, Arizona Cardinals 09/08/05 Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green confirmed that rookie RB J.J. Arrington will start but all three of his running backs will play. He intends to play both Marcel Shipp and James Jackson along with Arrington in Sunday's game against the Giants. Huddle Up: Not exactly what Arrington owners want to hear as the season kicks off and hopes are high for the rookie out of Cal. He should still get the bulk of carries and if he should have a couple of impressive runs early on, Green will most likely continue with the hot hand. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nicker
Alright, back to my Holmes for S. Jax. trade. What about trading JJ for S. Jax and through in one of my WR?

Grits and Shins
You should never put much credence in what a coach says ...
Roo
I think it's normal to have J.J. share some carries early on so he can gain some confidence. I think people are overreacting to his poor preseason and news like this. I am not saying he's gonna be a huge stud, but a very servicble #3 RB. He just has to get comfortable, and sharing carries is a good way to work him up to full time duty. I am sitting him this week for Willie Parker, but I don't think you should trade him low. They brought him in for a reason. Shipp sucks. Edited September 8, 2005 by Roo
Nicker
Again, you can never put a lot of stock into preseason games.
Spartans91
Relax everyone. JJ is going to be a very good RB in this league. It may take a few games, but he is a tremendous talent out of the backfield and in the passing game. JJ will be a very nice #3 fantasy RB this year to start when the matchup is right. The problem with so much time between the start of fantasy football season and the end of the preseason is that there is way too much coverage and way too much time to anaylize everything to death. They will not leave their 2nd round pick on the bench because of Marcel Shipp who could not take the job from a 45 year old Emmitt Smith

What I would do IMO IMO IMO is trade him. He was ranked so high everywhere that his value is huge. I just don't think he is the next stud RB and I would trade him off while I could. Slusy
I dunno. I have a hard time basing a trade decision on what a coach says given that it's not in their best interests to give away their game plans. I think it's about two weeks early to start trying to dump your draft picks...
