the Jags WRs matchup well with almost anyone in the Red Zone...and given their problems with short yardage last week, I think DMDs onto something.

He can fall forward. I hope he's right too. He likes their new offense and I hope they do well. Jimmy Smityh looks good. If they can get Willams and Jones t improve t may be a good team to watch.

I agree with the prediction and already had Leftwich pinned as my starter this week anyway.

In my keeper league with a flex spot where we can start a 2nd QB I'm liking my Lefty draft pick more and more... it's only 1 game but I got him late. He posted nice yardage totals against Indy both times last year...

From the Jacksonville paper

"One of the best-kept secrets in pro football is that Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich has outdueled Peyton Manning twice in their last three meetings and beat teams led by Brett Favre and Trent Green last season.

As he enters his third NFL campaign, Leftwich tends to be overlooked because he plays in a small market on a team that hasn't made the playoffs for five years. That also explains why the Jaguars are 8 1/2-point underdogs for Sunday afternoon's road game against Manning's Indianapolis Colts.
