kevin_carlson
Hugh, you are the coolest for doing this! I need to start 3 WR. #1 is M Harrison. Other choices... Engram vs ATL Colbert vs NE E Parker vs SD M Clayton vs BUF I think Clayton is out vs a tough BUF D. Which 2 of the reamining 3 do you like? I've pumped Engram up this week, I like him to do well, and since your other options suck, I think you should start him. Bench Colbert. If anyone finds openings against New England it's going to be Smith, not Colbert. I agree with you about Clayton, I wouldn't expect much from him. That leaves us with Parker, who I actually think is a good start this week. Yep, Parker and Engram should be OK for you. Not great, but not horrible either. Skinsfan24
Hugh, Standard scoring no points for rec. 1 pt 10yds rush/rec. I need to start one at a flex position. Arrington, Crumpler, Booker, Marcus Robinson, Mike Williams. Also, is C. Rogers ankle enough for me to bench him? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Avernus
not sure if I somehow missed your reply in the thread, hugh...but I'll repost WR's...I have to start 3....here's the scoring rules... 1 pt per rec 1 pt per 10 rec yds 5 pt bonus@100 yds rec TD's: 6 points Plus 1 point for a ReTD of 10 to 29 Yds Plus 2 points for a ReTD of 30 to 49 Yds Plus 3 points for a ReTD of 50 to 99 Yds options... A Johnson v Steelers A Boldin v Rams A Bryant @ Packers K Curtis @ Card's R Ferguson v Browns T Taylor @ Bengals - likely the odd man out... R Gardner v Patriots - I won't consider him until he actually plays (likely this week) what do you think Hugh?... preciate the feedback
Randall
Hugh, pick one of these for HOT league, D Davis VS Pitt Dunn at Seattle Cadillac VS Buffalo. I would put Dunn in this week, but what do you think? Thanks for the advice.

Any Detroit Lion, very bad. Any Chicago Bear, very, very bad. I guess that leaves you with Alge Crumpler.

I kinda started from the back, yada-yada-yada. Anywho, back to business. I'm a HUGH Andre Johnson fan, but Carr regains his confidence, I think you have to bench him, especially against the Steelers. Carr will turn it around, and Johnson will become a solid WR again, but just not this week. I like Boldin. He will re-assert himself as the #1 WR in a high scoring affair which will mean solid numbers for him. Over 100 yards and at least 1 TD imo. Wow, after that you're pretty much in deep sh*t. Forget Taylor. Until the Vikes offense starts to gel, I bench all their WR's and RB's. Rod Gardner. You'd be better off starting Rae Carruth. At least Rae won't get you negative points. (Sorry for the low blow ) I think you pick 2 from Ferguson, Bryant, and Curtis. Pretty cr*ppy, but it is what it is. Man. Hope Ferguson gets by the secondary and gets you a TD. Seriously, this is exactly the kind of game Favre lights it up in. Lost his #1 WR, sucked last week, everyone thinks they're done, he goes out and throws 3 TD's. Just hope 1 is to Ferguson. Yeah, it's a long shot, but it wouldn't surprise me either. Then I guess Bryant. Curtis is the 3rd or 4th option at best, and won't get many opportunities. Green Bay's defense blows, so Bryant should get some chances. Good luck, you might need it.

I would put Dunn in this week, but what do you think? Thanks for the advice. 995864 For me it's between Davis and Dunn. I think Davis will have a better week as the Texans will get him much more involved in the offense, but the matchup would probably have me put him on the bench in favor of Dunn this week. Hugh 0ne
Chicago Bear? Booker is on Miami. Yes still bad though...lol Thanks Hugh. 995931 After answering 100 of these your head starts to go Booker used to be a Bear. But yeah, my theory would still apply. Although with Frerotte at QB, the Fins could be a little better on offense.

alexgaddis
I like Boldin. He will re-assert himself as the #1 WR Gotta disagree here...Fitz is and will be the #1 guy there for years to come...Boldin was a one year wonder who will be second fiddle while he is in Arizona.. mhayhurst
Glad your back! Two questions. WR (pick 4) CJ Burleson Lelie Bryant Lloyd Jenkins (Or would you drop Jenkins and p/u G. Lewis, Ferguson, E. Parker, Re. Williams) RB (pick 3) Duece DD Willie P. Caddy Thanks again for coming back to us. The week wouldn't be the same with out the Hugh FFA... 992717 When you have time Hugh. I'm more concerned about the WR portion of this question. Thanks again. Skinsfan24
How many games has he played in the last 3 years? 995974 True, but at least it's not a broken collarbone again! Would you sit Rogers and start Booker? I would have said Crumpler but I'm already playing him at flex instead of JJ Arrington. ramdes
Jordan vs KC, Jackson @ ARI and W. Parker @ HOU Smith vs SD, Clayton vs BUF, and K. Curtis @ ARI I'm leaning toward Jackson and Parker and Smith and Curtis, but is it good to rely on 2 Rams after last week's performance? 12 team standard scoring, no ppr, we start 2 RBs and 3 WRs (Harrison is my other WR)

Thanks again. 996001 I would drop Jenkins and pick up and start Parker this week, along with CJ and Lelie for sure. Toss a coin between Burleson and Bryant. Maybe Burleson, even though right now I'm very concerned to start any Vikes offensive player.

If my only other option is Booker, I'd start Booker.

At WR Curtis is a risk. He won't get many looks because he's the 3rd or 4th option. Clayton is the #1 option, but has a tough matchup. I'd still start the guy who will get the looks. Start Clayton.
