Avernus
I think I missed you Avernus, my bad. I kinda started from the back, yada-yada-yada. Anywho, back to business. I'm a HUGH Andre Johnson fan, but Carr regains his confidence, I think you have to bench him, especially against the Steelers. Carr will turn it around, and Johnson will become a solid WR again, but just not this week. I like Boldin. He will re-assert himself as the #1 WR in a high scoring affair which will mean solid numbers for him. Over 100 yards and at least 1 TD imo. Wow, after that you're pretty much in deep sh*t. Forget Taylor. Until the Vikes offense starts to gel, I bench all their WR's and RB's. Rod Gardner. You'd be better off starting Rae Carruth. At least Rae won't get you negative points. (Sorry for the low blow ) I think you pick 2 from Ferguson, Bryant, and Curtis. Pretty cr*ppy, but it is what it is. Man. Hope Ferguson gets by the secondary and gets you a TD. Seriously, this is exactly the kind of game Favre lights it up in. Lost his #1 WR, sucked last week, everyone thinks they're done, he goes out and throws 3 TD's. Just hope 1 is to Ferguson. Yeah, it's a long shot, but it wouldn't surprise me either. Then I guess Bryant. Curtis is the 3rd or 4th option at best, and won't get many opportunities. Green Bay's defense blows, so Bryant should get some chances. Good luck, you might need it. 995918 ahaha...well, Curtis got 14 looks last week....and I am solid everywhere else except WR with Collins, Edge, Jordan or KJ/Anderson along with Dallas Clark and Steelers D.... hopefully I get lucky this week.... preciate the input... He'll get half those looks this week, and based on his percentage, he'll make 3 or 4 catches. JMHO. And yes, the rest of your squad looks good. Bryant will outperform Curtis this week. You can take that to the bank.

darin3
Thank God for the fixed server! Couple of issues to address here, various leagues: WR Issue Curtis @ ARI - we all know he was targeted big time last week -or- Bennett vs. BAL - someone has to catch the ball, right? Pick 3 WRs Harrison vs. JAC - duh R. Williams @ CHI - I know you hate the Lions, but he IS a stud Bruce @ ARI - lack of looks last week? Porter vs. KC - shootout city Ferguson vs. CLE - gettin' his shot Jamal Lewis Quandary Jamal Lewis @ TEN - even with 10-15 carries, he could rack up 80/1 -or- Thomas Jones vs. DET - Detroit's D is average at best, Jones still the starter at least for this week Pick 4 - WDIB (Who Do I Bench?) Lelie vs. SD - please, Ashley, don't be a bust Muhammed vs. DET - someone has to catch the ball McDonald @ ARI - was targeted quite a bit, shootout to come Stokley vs. JAC - has had HUGH games vs. JAC Gonzalez @ OAK - big game ahead Clark vs. JAC - good to go, should find the endzone, yeah? Thanks, Hugh. You 'da man. Edited September 16, 2005 by darin3

I don't have time to look at this entire thing D, but I'll make a few casual observations. Roy Williams had some nice games last year. This year, the Detroit offense has yet to do dick. The play calling blows, the pass protection blows, the QB blows. So, my friend, as much as this may hurt, Roy Williams is, right now, not a stud. Bruce will bet the Curtis looks this week. Start him. Try Porter over Ferguson. Ferguson's being bumped, but his numbers might not reflect those of a #2 WR. Don't bench Jamal. I think he's a good play. I'll try to look at your other WR question tonight. asabban@comcast.net
The RB question is a no-brainer. Start Julius and Parker, without a doubt. I think Warner and Brooks are both good starts this week. I'd lean slightly towards Brooks. 995277 thanks for the input....i'm going with Parker and J. Jones I'm actually going with Warner here-=he's going to chuck it all day cause I don't believe in there running game just yet... Brooks scares me against the Giants , though it will be an eotional uplifting Mon night game!!! I may make a last minute move b4 gametime what about my wideout situation??? WDIS with Chad Johnson? McCardell @ DEN M. Jenkins @ SEA A. Boldin vs. STL L. Evans @ TB your input would be appreciative!
Pitbull739
6 pt TD's, 1 pt/10 yds rush/rec, 1pt/25 yds pass, 1 pt/rec. Favre vs. Cleveland or Delhomme vs. Patriots Brett killed me last week. And now there is no Javon. Cleveland stinks. Jake did not have an outstanding week, but he could have had 10 TD's if he could have hit Smith in bounds. I am leaning towards Delhomme until Favre shows me something. Coles vs Dolphins or Houshmanzadeh vs. Vikings Looks like a toss up here. I like the Cincy offense against the Vikes, so I am leaning towards Housh. You are the man, Hugh! devilwoman
Ok Mr. Abs here is the scoop and its not pretty... Delhomme or Bledsoe League #1 (leaning towards Delhomme) Delhomme or Farve League #2 (leaning towards Farve) WR#3 Parker, Booker or Matt Jones (leaning towards Parker here, but Gates could get some of his throws.) I really like Jones and Jacksonvilles chances in the air with the Colts...? edit 4pts for passing TD, 6pts for receiving TD Thanks Hugh...Mr. ABS 992578 Was it my Abs comment or are ya just ditching me Hugh
abishagenaden
Hugh1, I have these WDISs in another thread, what's your opinion? 1) WR/RB: Carnell (Buf), R.Williams (@Chi) or LarryJ (@Oak)Carnell's hot but up against a tough D, Williams is on a cold O and against a tough D, and LarryK is hot, up against a weak D but only getting a few carries. At this point I'm leaning towards Carnell or LarryJ. I expect half of you will say "always start the #1 back (Carne) over the #2 back (Diapers)", and the other half will say that Larry will tear Oakland's D apart whenever he gets the chance. But does anyone have insight on any other factors I am neglecting to consider here? 2) WR/RB: Chester (@Ten), G.Lewis (SF), M.Williams (@Chi) This one is from loaf's 16-teamer. Is Jamal still banged up enough to lose some carries to Chester against a week Ten D? Or are either Lewis or Williams better bets? I read somewhere that Mora wants to involve Williams in more plays this week. True? I think I'm leaning towards Lewis or Williams here. 3) TE: Troupe (Bal) or D.Clark (Jac) This is a toughy. Both are banged up, sorta. You'd imagine Troupe is going to get a lot of dumped passes against Bal, and as for Clark, well, he's on Peyton's team. Leaning towards Troupe... 4) TE: Pollard (@Chi) or B.Franks (Cle) Again with the dumped passes (Pollard). Bubba has a nice matchup but is the GB/Favre passing game going to rebound from last week's fiasco? Leaning towards Pollard at this very moment... 5) DEF: Bal (@Ten) or Buf (@TB) Some say Bal is #1, and others say Buf is #1. This is a confusing choice, but I think I'm leaning towards Bal right now... 6) QB: Griese (Buf), Bledsoe (Was), Frerotte (@NYJ) I know, I know, yuck. How would you rank these guys 1-2-3 this week? I suspect most of you will choose Griese/Bledsoe over Frerotte, right? Edited September 17, 2005 by abishagenaden
Daffy's Nightmare
I have a QB WDIS for a standard performance scoring league and if you have time looking for some advice on a #3 WR this week. Thanks in advance. Collins vs. KC or McNabb vs. SF Also G. Lewis vs. SF A. Bryant @ GB D. Stallworth @ NyG or L. Evans @ TB ~D.N.

Wildcard
Start 2 of these guys. J.Lewis, S. Jackson, W. Parker,JJ Arrington, M. Faulk, K Barlow My Pics are Parker & Jackson Would appreciate some feedback from the guru of gurus: Hugh at the Huddle. I am leaning towards sitting Lewis because of the broken finger. Any thoughts? We start 2, 6 ponts TD under 10 yards, 9 points TD 10-29 yards, 12 ponts TD over 30 yards. 1 point every 10 yards, 5 bonus for 100 yards
