RussMan
If the Lions show up they should leave Chitown with the victory. You would have thought that the Bears would have learned something after last years qb fiasco. They didnt. The only thing that could keep the Lions from winning is Mooch's conservative WCO or that Hanson wont be available to kick (field goals and field position) in what looks like will be a low scoring and ugly game. Is anyone desperate enough to start any Lions or Bears on their fantasy team this week.
T-Man
No. I'm leaving Harrington and Hanson on the bench.

Dark Knight
I'm not starting anyone on either team. It should be low scoring, da Bears D will prevail and will be the victors. The Dark Knight
gilthorp
I think Thomas Jones is a good start. I'll believe the Detroit defense is that much improved when they put it together on the road a few times. Likewise, Kevin Jones should be a solid start for his owners, too. whitem0nkey
I think benson should get 5-7 carries this game......Just a guess.....
Swampnuts
It's hard to get a reading on this game IMO. I've got to decide if I'm going to use Roy Williams. They threw his way a bunch last game, I just fear another 10-6 type game.
cmoore
I'm starting Detroit D in a league. 994379 ditto, this should be a good week for the Lions D.
gilthorp
The Bears don't roll their corners at any one WR, so it's a good match-up for Williams IMO. I must decide in my local between him and Chambers, but Roy has a height advantage on Vasher, and they are team mates from Texas, so that should be an interesting little side bet they've got going. I wonder what the stakes are?
Skrappy1
I hear Charles Rogers has a gimpy ankle now. Any Lions homers know what her deal is? Edited September 16, 2005 by Skrappy1

I know Lion Fans are going to think I am a horrible fan but I look at every game objectively. I think it comes from betting all these years. but I think the Bears are the pick of the week bettingwise.
BigTen
I hear Charles Rogers has a gimpy ankle now. Any Lions homers know what her deal is? 994598 I have heard that he is probable for the Bears game. Problem is that they only targeted him twice last week. One ball was overthrown and the other went for 37 yards during their last TD drive. The need to start targeting him more, if not why have him on the team. Twice a game is not right. Pitbull739
Kevin Jones going in one league, Roy Williams in another. Benson on my bench, I am hoping to see some more carries this week so he turns up the trade bait for me!

Plus Chi is MUCH more likely to stick to their running game, which was one facet where GB was having success (hence Rossley and Sherman decided to throw 40+ times in a close game). Kitties go down and create a 3-way tie in 1st place (because GB beats Cle and the Vikes lose) - get used to all 4 North teams being within two games of each other and hoping to get above .500. Big Score 1
Playing Detroit's D is a No Brainer, considering that disaster in Chicago, which they affectionately call an Offense.

Ursa Majoris
I'm starting K Jones and benching Rogers (hurt) and Benson (not enough participation). I do think the Bears have a better than average shot in this one because, as was pointed out above, Detroit were very unimpressive against GB, who did everything they could to lose last week. Doc Holliday
I took the under in the betting league... 997359 the under is at 33.5 right now....that is a scary line to me. I would not touch that 1. but if I was I would go the over. I expect some defensive TD's in this game and for both teams to run well. FredGSanford
LIONS 8 BEARS 5 Lions win on a last second Remy Hamilton field goal. Hooray! You couldn't pay me to watch that garbage tomorrow. To quote Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack, this game will be "low grade dog food".
