That's my challenge (13 player roster). If I pick up a second kicker it's at the expense of a back-up RB, WR or QB spot unless I flat out drop Akers. Roster spots are at a premium. If there is any week to bench Akers it would be this week. He is injured and struggling. I have the same situation in my league where I have Akers. Down The Middle Posted September 22, 2005 Share Posted September 22, 2005 I had Akers too and I just dropped him - he is not that valuable and there are others perfoming better. I know he is supposed to be a teir 1 Kicker (is there such a thing?), but if you look at the numbers for last year the kicker line is flat (all are the same).
