Should I trade Dillon or Fast Willie

Recommended Posts

I have a multiplayer trade on the table, and I need to decide if I want to trade Corey Dillon or Willie Parker.

With Parker- I can envision Bettis getting goalline carries and Duce playing third downs. That's a fantasy mess.

SHould I trade away Willie Parker or Corey Dillon.

(The rest of the trade details are irrelevant)

I think it depends on what exactly you're getting, who else you have, the stats you're trying to get, etc.

All else being equal, Dillon is the keeper; but all-else is rarely equal.

I don't see anyone waiting in the wings for NEP to start taking significant carries away from Dillon, so would probably keep him, despite Willie's obvious upside potential.

Parker has a lot more upside, but Dillon is the safest option. Even if he continues to struggle with yardage, he'll still get plenty of scores.

Keep Dillon, PIT's schedule is about to get tougher, and Bettis and Staley will steal carries from Parker.

Keep Dillon, despite his tougher schedule.

Parker will indeed get his carries eaten into. They are predicting Deuce to get between 5-10 touches this weekend. That means Parker only has 18-22 chances to see the ball versus last weeks 25(?).

That looks to me like a 15-20% decline in production....

Just envision a scenario similar to the impact LJ has made on Holmes. That's about what you'll have, on a lesser scale, in Pitt.
