The Grey Pilgrim
I have both LB's and their yearly point totals are almost identical in our IDP league. Of course, I drafted Bulluck as my "main" LB. But I am looking at their matchups this week. Bulluck plays against SF, and the extremely weak offensive squad, running and passing. And Vrabel plays on the road against KC and LJ's running attack. Has anybody done any homework on whether an LB tends to score more points against a strong running attack, such as KC versus a weak offensive squad like SF? We score 1/2 point for an assist tackle, 1 point for solo tackle, 2 points for a sack and 3 points for an interception or fumble recovery. All insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Rovers
Vrabel is having his best season, FF-wise, and should be on the field a whole lot more than Bullock today. On the other hand, LB's in a 3-4 can sometimes have low scoring weeks too, and Bullock is tough to sit, regardless of the matchup. I'd probably go with Vrabel, but it's a tough call. Sorry I can't be of more help.... on occassion, SF can get a first down, but based on TOP, I lean towards Vrabel.
The Grey Pilgrim
Thanks for the input, Rovers. I had come to the same conclusion, although for what it's worth, Bulluck had the better day. Oh well. It's a shame that nobody replied to the post for about 18 hours or so in this forum. If you try to ask a question in the main forum like this, you get yelled at. But, if you come to this forum, nobody responds...... But I do thank you for the reply. Rovers
Sorry about that GP, the truth is there isn't a lot of traffic at the Huddle on IDP's. It was a tough call.... and I intentionally was as wishy washy as possible. I do have Vrabel, but not Bullock. In retrospect. I suppose any 3-4 LB should never be played over an MLB in a 4-3. for what it is or isn't worth, I learned something at your expense though... hope you pulled out a win, that would make me feel better. darin3
I come to this forum a few times a day looking for questions, etc. It's died down after a pretty nice start. Was up to my eyeballs in work and holiday BS this past week, so didn't get in here as much as I like to. As for this question, Rover hit the nail on the head. It's hard to sit either Bulluck or Vrabel, but Vrabel's been on fire, even with the return of Jes... err.. Bruschi.
Czarina
I had all good intentions of being here non stop, as I love my IDP leagues. But I never seem to get here. At least nobody's missing my vital Pats IDP info...since there isn't any.
